The other reviewer thinks release schedule is equivalent to narrative pacing.
Please don't be stupid like him.
That's like saying The Dark Knight trilogy has terrible pacing because it took 3-4 years to make the next film.
There is no pacing issue. The real issue is the abrupt shift of focus / genre.
It went from a short, 1-3 page per chapter generic rom-com fluff slop manga, to a dozen page per chapter rom-drama.
While it isn't what readers originally were hooked with, it's doing okay so far. The story is not amazing, but it's not brainless or aimless at all. If you have any sense of media literacy, you can get a feel that it's heading to more interesting events.
I appreciate the author's attempt to make something interesting instead of indefinitely milking the rom-com fluff slop premise these seething reviewers desperately want, as if that type of story hasn't been recycled 10,000,000 times already.
Current state I give it 3/5 stars.
1/5 = Horrible, don't bother
2/5 = Bad, only read if you have nothing else
3/5 = Okay, not a waste of time
4/5 = Good, keeps you wanting more
5/5 = Masterpiece, must read
