The story is ok, I think it suffers from the way the author has chosen to tell it and the art isn't strong enough to help the author out. I think there are 3 major issues with the story, but if you can overlook them you might enjoy this story.
1st) The biggest problem with this story is believe it or not, the romance. Why does the FL like the ML? We are given some childhood memory for why the ML likes the FL which is shallow but at this point expected from a male lead with barely any personality outside of loving the FL. But why does the FL like the ML? The story just tells us she fell in love with him but never expands on it, and since the story dedicates a large portion of itself to having the FL push the ML away with hurtful words, we never even get to see them having any chemistry. Call me crazy, but I don't think it is unreasonable to ask or expect that my romance genre book devote some time to forming, building, or even exploring the hardships of the romantic relationship or lack there of between the ML and FL.
2nd) The other issue with this story is even when the FL is failing she is winning. To better explain, the female lead gets a second chance at life and is supposed to be trying to change the future. She isn't 100% sure of how to do this and at first handles it poorly. This is what the author wants to convey in the story, the protagonist states this point in the story and I think it makes for an interesting spin to the time rewind concept. Except this interesting spin isn't shown well because even though the FL is handling her situation wrong, her plan isn't failing. Everything she has done has worked out even when her choice wasn't the right or best choice.
3rd) What exactly is the plan? The FL is trying to escape the clutches of the prince, got it. But she also wants to watch over the ML like a stalker and protect him...ok. I read up to chapter 35 and the FL technically has achieved her freedom, her parents and the prince's assassins can't get a hold of her because plot said so and now all she has to do is protect her ML. We learn in chapter 1 how amazing a soldier the ML is and that the only thing that could stop him was to lie that the FL was in danger. So in order to protect the ML it is important that the FL do 2 things, don't become a hostage, and maintain at least a business level relationship with the ML so that the ML can at least uncover any lies the prince may say about holding the FL hostage. But instead of the FL changing her tactics according to how she is changing her life, her plan remains static for no reason. Pushing the ML away now in her current situation doesn't make any sense to helping her plan, instead it makes her overall goal harder. It made sense when she had to hide her actions in the palace, but as free women her actions make no sense and the question becomes, what exactly is the plan?
