Story 1-2: Natsuko-chan was not what I was expecting, a nice surprise.

Masashi: "You act like it hurts when I try to fuck you but you're really just afraid of committing to a man so I'll just call you a prostitute and use you, that'll make things better!"

Yeaah that made my mood plummet for a while.

But the confrontation and make-up sex honestly made up for it, plus the jokes.

Extras: Okay, Saitou is amusing but why would I want to see his fantasies about Masashi. 😅 Hilarious he's a seme tho.

Masashi's horny face is too funny, blowing steam.

Story 3: Ah yes the third party who introduces a misunderstanding. But daaamn those results! Ippachi 'topping' as an act of vulnerability and showing love for both of them! aHHH my heart.

Story 4:

The drama theme for this chapter was jealousy to the point Masashi was an asshole to a random girl on the subway. Ippachi put his foot in his mouth by saying that he saw Masashi as a friend or little brother sometimes because they're both men, so that's why he encouraged Masashi to cozy up to Na-chan's friend...so Masashi said 'I'll you make you the girl so you can't fuck girls' and proceeded to fuck him in a toilet cubicle;; Of course Ippachi was only acting that way because he was afraid Masashi would want to be with a girl someday and...yeah, just, drama. XD It's like they're ironing out each problem one by one albeit messily.

Overall there where parts that made me throw hands, but I always came back to it and even kind of enjoyed the messy parts because they were followed by hashing the problem out. I plan on checking out Kawaige as well.

I can't believe the negative and mixed reviews! To me, this is a classic, one of the works that established Shiuko Kano's greatness. It combines sexiness, humor, and honest emotions. It's the work that made me love her! Well I'm a true Shiuko Kano fan, and there it is. If you haven't read I'm Not Your Steppin' Stone, go buy a copy and read it now!

the mixed reviews on this site and the fact that kano's old art style really turned me off (though it is getting better everyday~) kept me from reading this manga for a year, maybe. I finally read it, and and it was AWESOME, though a little unbelievable in some parts (ok many, but haha) the guys are like GUYS who act and look and have desires like guys, uke and seme. :0

This manga is pretty hard core though, if sex and semi-plotless sex and graphic sex turns you off, then you're better off reading something else, probably.

there is one scene that bugs me (Spoilers) when one of Kazuya drunk friends pulls down his pants and grabs his butt, Izumi shows up in time but i cant help but wonder if Kazuya would have slept with the other guy if he hadnt shown up. I guess we wont know.

Despite the very graphic & bold/crude intimate scenes (not to mention super high Testosterone charged men, mostly the seme xD), there's just something about this manga that pulls you in. I think it's the slow & realistic development of love despite actively receiving physical pleasure. I also liked the constant questioning & doubts the characters experience & the parts where they showed their vulnerability (even the beastly seme has that side to him xD) were quite affecting & tender.

Plot aside, the art is straightforward-smex-hardcore-action xD

Definitely yaoi. The seme is a beast and I think the uke is straight.
Some scenes make me like it, others make me cringe.
