Description

Worst of the worst.

This clearly have my prize as number one stupidest and crapiest comic of all time. And not only this work, but whole series, yes this are part of so called super string universe and have close linked to it Terror Man and Terror vs Revival.
Somehow i first read this, then Terror. and in both cases plot are worst then even 3rd rate chinese novels (and yes, it very bad there), same situation all the time, character had like 1 digit IQ in the beginning, and ended with same 1 digit in the end, no progression. Who plot twists and situation are written by someone from kindergarten or maybe exactly for people from kindergarten. I have no obvious visible reason why else this thing exists.
Terror man are like prequel for this, written by different author, but in same universe with same synopsis, but even with different author its crappy, and like 99.999% same. Same stupid crap, same stupid characters, brain dead plot and villains.
I hoped this would be not case for their 2022 work Terror vs Revival.. but.. i dropped it on ch8, because of inability to endure this crap any longer.

Imagine, one of mc was told that person who he thought are good (bishop), are in fact bad, and killed lots of people, and mc parents as well. Ok he dont believe just words, then he got it confirmed from said evil person minions. He still not convinced and run to save her. He arrive, try to save her from his current boss (who he already know, saving people), see distorted by hatred evil face of bishop, right there she tries to kill him, but he saved by good boss, then in next second when boss try to disable bishop, mc jump and try to kill\fight boss again.
WHERE THE F. ARE LOGIC?

So run from this and all mentioned works asap, if you value your time or you think that you smarter then rock, run!

Ungodly stupid MC

bnad hits it on the nail. The MC in this story is ungodly stupid to the point that it's unbelievable that someone thinks a moron of this level is suitable to even be a character in a story let alone be the main character.

It exactly feels like a shounen protagonist in a seinen story. Actually the villains are also pretty dumb except for Min Hyuk and even he doesn't take as many precautions as is sensible when dealing with a guy who can literally come back to life.

At the beginning I could forgive some mistakes made by the MC because he's just starting out. But 32 chapters in and it's not improving at all, the MC is still making the same dumb mistakes over and over. The villain is always 2 steps ahead and the gap is not closing. The recent addition of the Bruce Lee character just makes the story that much dumber. What good is martial arts going to do vs people with knives and guns? Jack shit. I'm not going to sit through another 10 chapters of pointless martial arts training. Dropped.

Shounen disguised as seinen

Imagine one of the most powerful mystical ability, the ability to resurrect from death in gangster action manga. Now imagine that ability in a stupid MC. Now you have the Reawaken Man.

Sure sure, that's pretty common troupe right? Stupid but strong willed MC. In shounen MC that is. Not so much in Seinen. In fact, MC penchant for not learning from every mistakes is a bit astonishing. Sure, he'll talk tough, spewing his macho ideology, heck he's almost always got sucker punched every time he delivered his macho monologue, but he doesn't really finish the job.

He'll just fail and fail, and let the bad guys kill and hurt more innocent people. But still, he gotta pose and be macho right?

sigh You will get frustrated while you're reading this. The story is weak, and doesn't make sense. And the only reason you will keep on reading this, it's because you wanna see the villain suffers. But you're gonna have to wait for a long time to see that. Let's just pray maybe one day, MC would stop talking so much and just finish the job.

The first time I started to read this I read a few chapters and moved on to another series. I really didn't think much about it. Going back through my saved manga list I can upon this one again. Why I overlooked it on the first place I can't really say. This series is absolutely amazing. I'm in love with it and it's suspense. It just keeps getting better and better. I'm so glad I gave this another shot. Definitely worth the read. In my opinion it's an absolute masterpiece.
