If MC is the self insert of the author then I am convinced that the author is a ruthless man who hates woman and enjoy hurting them by physically abuse them and only see them as no more than slave, so disgusting.

The author really believe that everyone need to obey the leader and not to criticize them otherwise seeing it as a betrayal that deserve death penalty. Controlling people using fear and ruthlessness. Basically the worshipper of mao ze dong, supreme leader of china back in the communist era who made china great again while also killed millions of his people, a ruthless charismatic leader. You can see MC as the reincarnation of mao for ruthlessness and abuse of power but it is work and efficient. Every problem in this manga is solved by threat and murder, very efficient.

The MC using food to get his believer loyalty remind me how mao ze dong gave his believer mango fruit that culminated in pilgrim for mango fruit by millions of Chinese back in 1962. In fact a man got killed by a headshot because he criticize that those mango are nothing but a fruit, nothing special.

But to be fair, regardless the MC is likeable or not, the manhwa itself is quite interesting.

So this is clearly written by someone who has no experience with normal interaction - but has an idea of common tropes of this type of apocalyptic novel and basically writes this like a summer camp type of experience.

It fails in world building or any sort of structure. The revenge plot is weak and doesn’t add to the story. The secondary characters add nothing to the story. The comedic aspect is forced and sometimes unnecessary. Also the use of his power is ridiculously wasted.

The fact that the translations is bad also doesn’t help, in fact it’s kinda frustrating as it makes it even more moronic.

It’s a shame as the synopsis had a decent premise and the rewind aspect, although not explained (as usual) led us to believe the MC had excellent insight and experience that would be truly helpful.

Can be overlooked to be honest. Quite forgettable.

Typical evil Chinese MC

I've read 187 chapters so far. The MC in this story uses his strength to bully the weak, often killing people when they haven't done anything wrong. To give one example, there was a guy who was really lucky and constantly obtained good items, and the MC was greedy and stole his stuff and then when the guy got mad and wanted to fight the MC the MC killed him even though that guy hasn't done anything bad.

Another example: the MC kicked out a girl from his group because she dared to criticize his plan in public, and then after he kicked her out he had her murdered in secret because he was afraid she might turn against him in the future because he kicked her out. For this reason, the MC secretly murders everyone that he kicks out of the group because he's worried that they might be angry at him for kicking them out and thus turn into a "potential future threat".

Throughout the story there are so many cases where the MC kills people in order to obtain their stuff or because he's paranoid that they might turn against him even though they haven't done anything bad yet. The justification is that this is the apocalypse setting therefore the strong prey on the weak, but the MC not only says "might is right" but actually believes it, using it to justify his evil actions including just straight up murdering people on the flimsiest of pretexts in order to steal their items out of pure selfish greed.

The Good:

Story moves fast. Battles last at most a few panels, even boss fights. Developments occur very quickly. No boring cultivation scenes. Boring parts are just skipped over. No long dialogues or infodumps.
Lots of cool and interesting abilities, and the MC makes use of them.

The Bad:

The story is the most straightforward of power fantasies - the MC levels up and gets girls and beats everyone else and does whatever he wants. There is absolutely nothing more to this story. In the better time travel stories the MC goes back in time in order to save someone he likes or to achieve a certain objective, but this story has nothing like that. MC has no goals besides getting stronger to survive stronger monsters and getting OP items and hot girls. The entire plot (I've read 187 chapters) is just that.
Barely any time given to characterization, as a result the characters feel paper thin.
Most characters get one or two sentences of description and that's it.
There are too many characters, it's hard to keep track of all of them.

The English translations are pretty bad, a lot of the time they completely butcher the meaning of the original. The original is pretty bad too, don't get me wrong, but the English translations are just straight up self-contradictory and incomprehensible.
