Whoa what a ride, sometimes good, sometimes not so much, but what a ride! And there was nobody to root for or like in this manhwa, altough I find the uke a hilariously foulmouthed, freeloading crazy char not boring in the least! The manhwa definwetly lacks some background information and would have benefited from some psychological introspection into the elder Kang, this way he ends up a very cliche "all appearances, no emotion" char, altough I thing he's much more than that, just he never gets his due! The son was a boring revenge-type seme, nothing notable about him... The elder Kang's wife could have been a more rounder char and has a delicgtfully wicked way abotu her, but she appears in only a few panels.
The whole piano/musical ambient was also ill used, and you never get the sense that the main chars are passionate about music. But as with most over-the-top, crazy yaoi, once you get hooked you can't let it go. It's far from a masterpiece, but managed to draw the outlines of three fucked up people and how they go around a tricky emotional situation. Not top class, but not boring either, and I found that being boring is the cardinal sin of yaoi (and generally all manhwa). As I said, nobody is likeable and the story wasn't given the proper depth, it was just used as a backdrop for a love triangle between father/son/lover, but still it's enjoable in it's own way. And the art is nice.
