A wonderful slice of life comedy about the daily life of an innocent horned girl named Madoromi and her caretaker human Taiichi and their adventures and exploits in life.
2 Volumes (Complete)

It's a nice manga with a good mood, but I feel like it lacks some oomph. It just isn't that interesting even if it's not a bad timekiller. It's just a girl acting cute and spoiled with a hardworking, young "father" character(caretaker?) that tries to keep her in line. It's fluffy and lighthearted. It's just that I feel like it lacks something to make it truly funny and awesome.
It lacks substance. I do recommend it, it's not as if it'll take more than a hour or two to read it all and it's by no means unpleasant, it's just that it doesn't leave you feeling that you'd want to read more nor that you'll remember it. I will probably forget this manga very soon because it has no real impact and truly leaves no lasting impression.
The only thing that even made me care a bit and have some lingering thoughts is the fact that she has horns. Why does she have horns? What is she? What the relationship between her and the caretaker in the first place? How did she end up there? Does she have horns just for the hell of it(because it's cute) without any thought being put into why? I do agree that dragon/lizard/horned girls are kinda cute, but if we're only going for cuteness, a dog girl or cat girl would do the job far better and letting her have some cat-like/dog-like personality traits would've made this manga more interesting than this... As far as I'm concerned, she's just a normal, precocious human brat who just happens to have horns, even if they get in the way and can be used as weapons(which happens here), I don't see much of a point, really. I don't feel like it adds that much to the story itself just because she happens to have horns that can be used for a few dull jokes here and there.
Seriously, no matter which manga or story it is, you'd expect at least some minimal amount of worldbuilding. It ends after a mere two volumes at the moment when the horned girl are going to enter school for the first time. We get no information WHATSOEVER about the background or even what she is nor is any questions answered as every chapter is just an episodic mini-story about her daily life. It's truly disappointing. I don't feel like this author is a good one, he had similar issues for that other story(Ookami Shounen wa Kyou mo Uso o Kasaneru) which had a horrible ending, bad pacing, lackluster execution and overall lacking in oomph and interesting parts. It's not an one-time thing, his way of writing is just like this, it's lacking depth, punch and reasonable worldbuilding while leaving readers feeling annoyed or disappointed by the outcome and lack of substance. While his manga are certainly readable, it's just not going to be considered as anything but an average timekiller.
Cute manga which can give you diabetes.
Sadly, it's too short, and it won't explain a shit about the Madoromi's origin.
Who the heck is she? Who are her real parents?
Those questions are still there 🙁
