Well for all who want to read this, just know that this was axed/cancelled. It's not bad, just on the contrary, it's actually pretty good, but I guess it wasn't popular... Don't know why, my guess is that Japanese readers don't really like Golf perhaps?
I bet the author, knew before the notice that he would get forced to end it and still managed to develop the story pretty far.
Usually they just end it without notice, but damn the author pulled off a really timed time-skip and it worked really great so credits for that.
The MC really looks like Saitama from Onepan, but just his expressionless face and desinterest, don't get me wrong he is OP too, but the other players too, so there are pretty even games. I don't know why there isn't a tag for Comedy(I'm gonna add it), since it has it. Maybe someone didn't thought the jokes weren't funny, talk about being impartial... and there's a Drama tag, don't know why either, but I will let be, since maybe there's a reason for it.
It's a good sports manga, there's not those really over the top moves where there's Ki gushing from everywhere and the art style looks really realistic for what it is, I definitely recommend it.
The only problem here is the lack off an ending and cause it's short they could developed other aspects of it, so I give it a 8.
After getting past my disappointment that this isn't about a robot in love with a laser beam this series is a bit surprising.
The MC's cool calculating facade hides a surprisingly hot blooded character. It's a pretty satisfying sport series, that feels hyped up. There are quite a few "super moves" so it is very possible it will go in a Prince of Tennis direction.
