Description

wtf the main girl character is actually getting in dangerous situations with old men. she doesnt even mind if they grope her or if she is nude in front of them or if she masturbates them. she is indeed a dirty girl except she didnt want to have sex with the clients

this series is funny as hell. i watched the anime which censored and changed stuff that i was actually looking forward to see. its ongoing, has 30 volumes ongoing now, and i've read only up to volume 5 chapter 8. you'd think thats great i have alot more to enjoy, right? well sadly i don't. i have read only to that chapter because thats as far as the groups has translate to english! i have been iching to see some progress and for months ( almost a year) there has been no new releases. sadly, there is no group curently translating since the last group disbanned for their own personal reasons. i see that alot of you guys say you've read to chapter 29 and actually understood. if you guys have read so far and understand japanese then why not help out somewhere to translate it. let us be able to enjoy it the way you have. its a popular manga and you would think a group would pick it up already but the main problem right now is that they don't have a translator free. if one of you could translate it would be easy to get something started since i know someone who is interesting in getting there group to pick it up but can't because of translator. make an effort, get this thing rolling again. i'be been dying to see new releases. its not hard to find a group if your interesting. other scantlating skills are needed too if you can't translate but translators ( anyone who understand jap!!) would sent this thing back into action. seriously. help a brother out. translate if for a group. i may know one or two groups that are interesting if any of you can spare the time. otherwise, this manga will never move from where it is now.

It's rather unbelievable how the series tries to make us sympathize with 2 persons that at first glance seem beyond help.

For starters, the girl became a teen prostitute because she disliked herself (yep some variably emo reason like most b****** would say).

Then we have the boy, who despite being a typical good-for-nothing, is far more perverted than what the most open-minded person could be comfortable with, he treats every girl as a sexual object, would have sex with her without concern for her future, and brag about it. And like a typical adolescent "in love", he's also proved to be childishly possessive and persistent. As if that was not bad enough, almost every man, old and young, in this series is also as demented. The girls are just sexual objects, the relationships superficial and all talk, the reasons for their unseemly behaviours weak and mostly an afterthought. None of that chivalry or 'pervert with a heart of gold' stuff here, none of what would help you look at the perverts in a more sympathetic light.

Or at least it seems so. Truthfully it's hard to get over the initial bad vibes this series gives off. Even I still have hard time deciding whether this is another pointless borderline-hentai series, or it's actually trying to have us rooting for the seemingly amoral and unashamed characters in a very unorthodox way. Which and how, you'll have to find out yourself, and yes the characters get a bit nicer later on, and the couple is quite popular.

I HAVE READ ALL 29 VOLUMES TILL THIS DATE.

Yes, it has a ton of side plots, a ton of ecchi, and a ton of fluff. But also believe or not, the girl and the guy improves A LOT. They have a ton of sex early on, but later on she actually doesn't let him score that often. Hell, I actually don't remember the last time I saw him able to go to bed with her.

This girl is one of the prototype of tsundere, except she's one of the older ones that actually shows A LOT of care for the main guy as opposed to the new girls who really are just *****es.

People who wondered how this went on for so long is because the comedy's great, the art improves drastically, and the girl has a freaking win personality that you pretty much do not see nowadays.

Amazing time-killer, a hilarious one at that. At least read the first volume, but honestly, TWENTY NINE?

TWENTY NINE VOLUMES?

Jesus, how the hell did it get that far? After volume 3 the manga is basically 95% unrelated filler chapter-long short stories. Every single chapter. I mean, sure, it's funny, but there's absolutely no plot development.

No character development either, by the third volume they're willing to have sex, and they like each other. Can't really go much further.

So once again, how the hell did this manga get to 29 volumes?

Ok ill name the bad things. The art in the first few volumes are hideous. after about vol 3 the art gets much much much much much better. Another thing is that the guy is a big pervert, which if you dont like that type of comedy this is still a good choice (since i wasnt a real fan of perverted comedy, but this is just outstanding). It has its romantic parts, and sometimes makes you laugh really loud. Oh, it moves kinda fast the first few volumes. In other words this manga is really amazing.

Read this cause it is GREAT!

Fun and fulfilling in a strange way

This is a great series for people tired of manga romances never going anywhere on a physical level (though emotional development is there too). It's also one of the few borderline hentai series that I can stand reading. Most of the truly dirty stuff is restricted to fantasies and isn't all that detailed. Indeed as the genre tags show, it is more truly ecchi than hentai, just ecchi where characters do more than flirt and ogle.

The gag beat-downs of Saji and others for perverted or inconsiderate behavior actually don't bother me like they do in some manga mainly because they recover so quickly from them (often within one panel) and Saji for one never seems discouraged by them.

Saji's behavior does get a bit old in some ways but I can't help but admire his endless determination and his moments of true romantic sweetness. The pure zest with which he expresses his feelings makes for an interesting contrast with Koizumi, who is much more introverted.

But for me the biggest draw is the side characters and their romances. Namely Arigase and Konoe. I just love confident girls with shy guys and they truly are sweet with each other, one of my favorite manga couples now in fact.

It's by no means a high quality epic tale but it does make for very fun reading, so long as you like or can ignore the dirtier elements. Here's hoping it continues to get scanlated as many of the best stories are in volumes that have yet to be translated.

I read until volume 4, then i lost interest. The main protagonist is a major pervert, to a point that wasn't even funny.
The romance wasn't getting anywhere either. Too bad because the start was pretty interesting and unusual for a rom/com.
The art isn't saving this manga from average.

Good manga, if u can read raw until one point u would see Akira's mental improvement. She wouldn't allow Saji to H with her that easily anymore.

I'll definetly read it once I have some time off from school assignments.
Reading all the reviews made me really interested in this series.
Hope the new scanlator will continue.
