just loving the art

the whole concept of possessed-doll and shiz doesn't really appeal to me.
just stayed for the beautiful art (and comical chibis) and their mini developments of their relationship. and perhaps some of the drama.
but it's really not that great on the overall plot lol.

There were some turn offs but lovable characters

Doyun acts like

a jerk that one chapter

Jieon dating with Sein arc bc homegirl gaslights herself (but thanks god, the arc ends soon so i don't rl mind that)

Other than this, i love this series a lottt. The art is beautiful 💕, and not the normal sparkling beautiful, it feels realistic but simplified at the same time. Doyun's illustration really looks like that hot kpop or kdrama guy u stan.

The chemistry between our leads is..lovely. Especially after they date, they give you all the fluff you need (around c.100). Looking back I think that the fact Ji-eon forgives Doyun for his super mean, hurtful remarks that one chapter depicts how realistic relationships can be. Sometimes, even your loved ones can be jerky. Anyway, Doyun rather not do it again any time or i'll drop this series for real.

This is a good slow burn. The plot gets...boring and you just read for the sake of knowing-what-will-happen-next sometimes but when they finally date, i think it's worth it

Lost (where is the story going?)

Honestly it's slower than my cute beast but at least my cute beast has a lot of wholesome moments and content to warm your heart. literally were I'm at right now just started having plot direction, you come for what the manga say it's about but for a while it detours from that, to the point were you forget why you decided to read. Like why?

Having two love interest (these two in particular, other stories have done it better) just slows the story down,
the second choice (not black hair) seems good but he doesn't do much for the story, except if his secret is exposed but when will that be?, we need some sort of progress because neither relationship has developed that much. The female lead seems scared of both of them, I'm not even joking.
If it weren't for the fact that she felt bad for the male lead and felt pressured by the other love interest, she'd probably ditch both of them.

Hopefully the story really starts and I can relax and enjoy it for real this time. I will continue with an update but for now I'll leave it here. 3/23/22

Season 2
I'm sorry but I have to admit our FL here is kinda dumb, I wasn't sure until several chapters that proved it. It's not uncommon to have a dumb protagonist, so that's not my main issue. Her selflessness is her strength and weakness. It took chapter 93-96 to clarify this for me.
Spoiler:

so for chapter 93 I think or around that chapter(it's 94), ji-eon doesn't break up with the guy she stopped having feelings
for. Instead they only break up because he said to and because he realized she had feelings for his friend. He wanted love but realized there wasn't a point unless Ji-eon loved him like she use to. This is the selfless part, while still kinda stupid, it clear that Ji-eon wanted to be responsible and didn't break up with him because she didn't feel like he deserved that pain. Of course the author couldn't allow a fruitless relationship to drag the story any longer(thank goodness),so they made Se-in self aware of their relationship. Now she's with Doyun (And has the control doll back in her arms) chapter 93 may be mixed up by the way, I thought
the author presented a flash back but the original sight had the proper chapters in order and I figured this when chapter 98 came out.

This isn't a complete review yet but there were enough chapters to comment, until next time.

The gimmick to the story (ie the controlling doll) is not actively used beyond the first couple chapters, as of now it just the reason why the leads are near each other and how their interesting relation dynamic is formed. The story setting itself is simple -- slightly overused -- idea of what if a normal person started getting involved in the entertainment industry (ie dates hot actor, etc).

Despite this, I really like the story, and it is not that good. I find the jokes to be chuckle worthy, the cliffhangers to be dull, and the tropes to be overused. However, the character interactions just are so funny for me. Read this when you get time, but its definitely shouldn't be on the top of your list, or should be a story you binge.
