Not bad for a debut work

Not bad considering it's the authors first full volume. Includes a lot of details that provide depth but never really come together. I wonder if a lot of the planned story had to be cut due to page/chapter limitations.

Scanlation is missing the tankobon extra.

Didn't like the redraws, but no use complaining about something done so long ago. The comparison images in the credits show they added extra highlights to sweat, not just redrew dicks.
If I were to read again, I'd probably buy the original Japanese.

Enjoyed this series a lot. Could use some work in the pacing department...sometimes scenes jumped around and it was a little disorienting. Also, the stalker plot was wrapped up so suddenly and with no repercussions...what purpose did it even serve? Making the owner character more mysterious? He already was! I also wanted a little more insight into Sakura's character. We see his trauma but nothing of how that affects his character in the current story. What drove him to suddenly seek Kaede out? Other than that, the romantic tension was quite good. Feelings are all there, plot was just a little tangled.

I'm actually so excited that the mysterious owner character turned out to be a hot ass transman. Can we please have a spin-off based on him PLEASE?

First of all, I would simply love to thank the translators for the warning and commendation they put up. In many ways, I would argue, that was the best part of the manga. From the artwork to the storytelling, I love this to bit. The best part for me was the repercussions and the just deserts that the villains got.

so it's a debut? well, well, it's a better story than many stories from experienced authors. It's memorable. It's deep in a way, heavy and dark but it's not a superficial shitty darkness if you know what I mean. And it's not only about sex. It's a good, interesting story with strong plot and solid background. Also I like the characters. This mangaka surely has a promising future.

I agree, there are weird moments, you could say the storytelling isn't quite right but let's just blame it on the lack of experience. It doesn't change the fact that this manga is worth to read. Although it's full of heavy stuff like abuse, violence, problems with fitting in society, death of family member or facing one's demons from the past.

Clumsy but earnest

Just like its main character, this manga has its awkward patches in certain areas, but also comes across as very genuine and that's where the charms come from. For a debut work it's definitely better than the average of the field, and with more experience I believe the mangaka will be able to produce some stellar titles in the future. She has that special something. Also I quite like her humour too.
