Not bad, but as it often happens with manhua, I dislike the MC, selfish, arrogant, all the time trying to get the better of everyone he meets, I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to rip of his mother before healing her if she had an illness. What do Chinese like about this kind of MC is beyond me, looks like being an a**hole is popular in China...
I'm exaggerating of course, but you get the idea. The MC is a guy that pointlessly returns to the past, I mean, I had even forgotten he was a returnee by this point, (ch.220, even if you read the 1st ch it's confusing, he goes back to the past but doesn't know much about the world... (so maybe it's just bad TL), as said, he's annoying, there is a big cast of secondary chars with limited importance, it's all mostly about the MC, some are as annoying as the MC, others are interesting, some funny, etc.
The story and or world-building are the most interesting parts, to be honest I don't remember perfectly, that's the problem with manga/hwa/hua I started reading over 1 or 2 years back after all. In any case, it's nothing special but it's interesting at least. In a modern society that can use a type of martial arts that is like a cross with cultivation (they can fly, use Qi and energy and so on) some portals appear that connect to another world of "martial artists" (or they discover it? it happens in the past of the MC's timeline), so there is a struggle between the humans from the two worlds. It's not really clear who is the bad guy here since the civilization of the MC seems to be the invaders but at the same time the guys of the other world seem to be unwilling to talk, it's really not clear, maybe it will be explained in the future. There is also a second more powerful (or dangerous) enemy that seems to be a cult in the main world. So the story is about the MC and the different academies of China growing stronger by competing with each other to eventually face the threats with some skirmishes with both forces here and there. Oh, and the MC has a system... you know, it's manhua, what did you expect, so he can grow faster and break convention, cheat, etc.
Pace is ok, art is good, has a bit of an oldish sense but I like it, dialogues are meh, mostly the MC duping, coercing, etc., and comedy is hit and miss for me, mostly miss but I did have a few sporadic laughs
Overall, it's readable, entertaining at times, annoying at others. It's engaging enough that I'm still reading it, but to be fair the MC wasn't as annoying in the first 150ch or so, which I rather enjoyed and seems to be getting more cocky as the story progresses. Also, I'm writing it trying to remember what I read a long time ago, don't take it too seriously, some parts may be completely off but it's the impression it left me. It's a 6-6.5 overall but I'm lowering the vote to 5.5 because of the MC and his progression.
