an apocalypse story is all about the tension, desperation and strength of human will.

this story has none of that. the MC is a petty asshole who's only in it to save his own skin. he knows the apocalypse is coming but he makes ZERO effort to help others. it's only that girl and his neighbors who wronged him, why not help everybody else? he deserved to be killed in his first life if he's this type of person.

Cliche, sexist apocalypse story

The way women are treated like s*x slaves is degrading. The MC also constantly kills people and is untrusting of everyone and everything to the point of it being a bit much. There's some resource stockpiling and exploration of the wider world, but not much. Mostly it's just fight after fight after fight with various factions. The skills and systems are interesting enough, but there's not really enough on it to make up for everything else wrong with the story.

The author really doesn't seem to have done their homework on the settings for this story.

I mean I can't understand why everyone is walking around with nothing to cover their heads or hands in the story while the MC also for some reason decides to roll around in the snow. I mean it's explained as being -70 to -100 degree's all the time and indoor it's like -30 degree's. Your skin will freeze in like a minute at -50 degree's and looking at how the snow is falling it's also windy which would increase the danger by a lot I mean -50 degree's with just a gentle to moderate breeze would add something like -10 to -20 degree's easily. I mean you get frostbite in around 30 mins at -30ish degree's and in about 5-10 mins at -50 degree's. Just breathing air at -70 degree's would be dangerous or at least painful.

Another thing is that while on average a person can easily survive 30-50 days without food some have even done it for over a year on just water, tea and vitamins, so it's kinda weird how people in these kind of stories grow crazy with hunger or even turn into eating each other after just a week or two. However, at the same time while an average intake for a person is about 2500 calories per day, when someone lives in -50 degree's you usually need around 10 000 calories or more per day so when it's even colder here people would need to eat 4 to 5 times more food everyday to not start losing weight. Here for some reason people just eats the same or even less then normal with seemingly no problems.

So while the whole the world has frozen over and people start getting superpowers because of radiation is kinda new the author seemingly has no idea what would actually happen in those kind of weather conditions and instead it's shown as if everyone is just living as normal just that there is a ton of snow blocking everything.

Thus is an amazing series. Read 308 chapters. Mtl site is shutdown but I have read through it is a very accurate portrayal of what people will become in an APOCALYPSE!!

Whiners don't seem to understand how desperate people will get. Ever hear the phrase revolution is 3 meals away. Wars have started over people starving. People are ravenous hungry and desperate to survive. Sure first week might be all sunshine and roses but things will quickly deteroiate and PEOPLE become the problem.

That's what the MCs rebirth is showing. He did everything right and people turned on him and ate him alive. The first 80 chapters or so are about his revenge agaunst everyone that does him wrong or tries too.

He let's his uncle/military vet survive and Zhou keep because they are useful and they haven't done anything to wrong him or anybody else. While everybody is trying to break in and kill him at one point or another.

Is he a bastard? Sure. It's the apocalypse and he doesn't want to die again. He will do many evil things to people that get in his way, but most of it is justified in the context of the APOCALYPSE!!

He does rescue a few dudes like his uncle and a fat Otaku. He rescues 2 high school girls which he doesn't touch at all. A model and a teacher. All because they accept his terms to become his family and trust his orders.

The Mc is far from 1 dimensional. He's extremely paranoid and will put in every effort to think his way out of the problem. He does have a morality. The one building that doesn't turn on him he allow to live. He only defends himself and his people.

Again it's the APOCALYPSE if you are a cannibal or a rapist like the rich guy in chapter 200ish or enslaving people or doing anything that hurts his survival or the people he cares for. He will kill them without any remorse

His rebirth gave him the space power which allowed him to prep for the apocalypse better than anybody. So all types of people want to either be with him or kill him and steal what he has. Use your brain if society falls apart your neighbors might eat you

From all the apocalyptic manhua I tried (and I tried a LOT), this is by far the most stupid and retard story ever.

He gains a super-power without zero explanation.

Buys lots of things and make sure to show-off to his neighbors...

Decides to turn his apartment into a safe house to exact revenge on his neighbors (instead of buying a fortified house elsewhere to survive)... while they can easily set fire below his apartment and burn the whole building as a last act of desperation.

There are better trash apocalyptic manhua out there if you want to waste your time with that kind of story/quality.
