Description

Pretty generic in all ways except the art.

The story is pretty damn generic and... average. The MC looks like every other korean MC has since Solo Leveling got popular. His personality is the same as every other korean MC since Solo Leveling got popular. His edgy-ness is the same as......

You see what I'm saying here? I can't call it BAD, but ti's so un-original it's downright painful. The MC is an anti-hero, and pretty hypocritical too I might add, and the story is a nonsensical mess. (Seriously, the MC is such an antihero and yet absolutely has a 'I have the moral highground' attitude vs other characters).

It doesn't help that there keep being these 'rounds' and they're all only a little different from each other that they blend together. It's a fairly typical death-game where there's a 75% reduction in the participants every round or whatever, then zones get combined, etc.

Just about the only standouts that the series has is that the art is quite nice, and the MC has a... wow I don't know how to describe him... but a younger brother that basically fulfills the 'younger sister' stereotype. Like he's very effeminate, and he's being protected and... he's a princess. Whatever, let's just call him a princess. So the MC has this teeny tine bit of humanity left in him where he wants to protect his younger brother, but the vast majority of his character is full up of 'edgy-ness' and 'antihero'.

TL;DR. Generic in a bad way, your appreciation of this will depend on your ability to tolerate edgy characters (and hypocrisy, can't miss that).

I'd like to start off by saying that I read through a lot of Manwhas, although a lot of them start to get boring after 10 chapters like ORV, this is a very unique and great Manwha, I hope it'll continue soon, great work!

by inserting myself into the main character, i gain unlimited power, knowledge, money, and women
what's stopping me from being perfect is just waiting for the author' next chapter

story is so forgettable, my bad because i don't even remember mc name after read 40chapter
it's like a beautiful cake but after you try a bite the taste is so bland and you will never buy it again

But its still in its early stages, which makes the other 2 reviews funny because its based on ignorance and prejudice. We know very little about the MC and what he has been through and what the 'game' is about.

great art, but it's very generic... mc is a self insert mary sue who's regressed 99 times to clear 20 floors (skill issue btw) and needs to get 4 allies on his last regression. But emphasis on this being his last regression because u will not see that mentioned at all during the manhwa. Or even alluded to. Gawd damn. I was about to weite a whole paragraph about how the author doesn't make any substantial decisions but that would take too much time, so tldw:

this manhwa is a no-stakes wish fulfillment tower progression. That's all. MC faces no conflict. He doesn't have a personality, so u can imagine urself kn his shoes all u want. Everyone (the girls) loves him. He invests in stocks. Yippee!

God, i can't believe i actually read up to ch 30.... what a waste of time 😭😭

A few things that bother me:

It took exactly 99 attempts for the MC to get to the 20th level? And he didn't bring any companions? Seems kinda stupid.
If the MC had really lived 100 years, he sure doesn't act like it. You'd expect someone like that to have much more wisdom, emotional maturity, self-control etc.
So many things happened this time that "never happened before" which doesn't make sense. Like his brother deciding to get rice cakes. You're telling me that never happened in his 80+ previous lives?
The angels being able to get killed doesn't make any sense. If the godlike entity decided to use the angels as guides, then why would they allow the angels to get killed?

Actually, the more I think about it, the less it makes sense. All those Korean "the world becomes a game!" type stories don't really make any sense when you think about it. Why would an omnipotent being create a game where people die arbitrarily.

Okay, so they're a sadistic god who likes to watch people struggle and die, fine. But then you can't tell me that there's a good ending to this type of story that makes any kind of sense. The only good ending would be where the MC becomes a god and then gets revenge on the god who made the game. But why would a god ever allow a human to gain enough power to threaten the god's own existence? That just doesn't make sense. But the entire premise is nonsense to begin with, so why am I even writing this.
