Overrated, over hyped, stupid, hypocrite and boring af.
There is zero interesting character btw all main character, I tried read it millions times and still just can't keeps going and always bored and annoyed to death especially by 3 leads and dropped it lol
This is a best example of a overrated weak manga.

Even after all these years, I still love Naruto, both the anime and the manga, and Itachi is the best character in the world. But I still can't understand how it is possible that Naruto is a masterpiece and Boruto is a low-quality imitation of anime. Why are they doing this to me?

I am an Indian and anime was a new thing here in late 2015 or 16 and when I first heard about naruto from a friend I never though I will end up watching the series and reading it’s manga over and over again . This is the best manga of all time. Forever close to my heart.

Most things, except for the female characters, are great before the timeskip but as the story goes on the inconsistencies and bad storytelling decisions keep adding up and by the time we reach the final arc the story doesn't seem to be about ninjas anymore and it becomes a sh*tshow of plot conveniences, but I guess that's expected considering how long this series is and its genre. It still makes me sad because the story has a lot of potential and could've been much better, but it is what it is.
Even with all of its flaws this is to date the manga I've enyojed and invested myself into the most and I'm sure I'm not the only one. That alone earns this series an 8.5 for me.

Just as many people my age, we read it and saw the anime on TV. Thinking of it's target audience I wont give it a 1 ,but it's inevitable seeing this series as an example of how editors can completely derail a series .This happens in general to Jap. media . But in Naruto it happens way to much in many developments ,characters ,the pairings at the end...(Sasuke was literally put there but the editors).

I do give a bind eye to it's many inconsistencies and the average resolution of problems with the power on friendship ,but the "destiny" stuff at the end really ruins the whole series .

Of course its gonna drag.. the series went on for years/hundreds of chapters! I physically cannot give it any less than a 10/10 because, not only did I grow up reading/watching Naruto, but its probably the only 700 chapter series that I’ll ever finish again haha that being said.. the story is definitely not perfect. Pretty much all of the female characters were written to be useless and the pacing is absolute shit since they were trying to milk this for as long as possible. I still feel like it was wrapped up pretty well compared to some other manga/anime of equivalent length. I absolutely loved reading about the history of the Senju/Uchiha clan. I know people hate his character, but I feel like Sasuke is the most unfortunate character in the entire series..

To think that his entire clan was eliminated by his own brother solely because of irrational fear.. To top it all off he was even deluded into dedicating his entire life towards killing the last remaining member of his family.. If only Danzo had been taken care of sooner. On a side note, I notice a lot of discourse about the relationships, and yes.. that was a mess. It wasn’t something I thought was that important, but even so.. Sakura and Naruto were the only OTP in the entire show! He literally devoted his whole life to her so its outrageous that he somehow fell in love with Hinata at the last minute. Anyways, I thank Kishimoto for a fun childhood. On to Boruto I guess.. 😅

Grew up alongside Naruto, despite it's shortcomings and dragging on towards mid-end it is still the quintessential manga of my generation

It's iconic for a good reason, but that also makes it generic quite often. If you don't like the typical anime shounen power of friendship stuff it's not for you, but otherwise it's very good.

Childhood ruined

So I read this manga when I was like 4th grade or younger. Fell in love with it INSTANTLY. Cried when Naruto cried because of Iruka, even learn how to use Chakra (I was stupid, but since I'm an Asian, I know that Chakra is a real thing, but don't know how to unlock it) to become a ninja.

I hate Sakura the most. GOD! Shut up! Sasuke even won't look or talk to you! Yet, she grows up and become rather good character after

At least, I saw a character development in this manga, which is good.

I was not reading the manga, but also watching the anime, and honestly, after Naruto becomes Naruto Shippūden, it became rather bland. Even my mom who usually don't want to watch anime said Naruto was good before Shippūden. But OK, I couldn't judge an anime or a manga just after watching or reading 2-3 episodes/chapters of it. So I pushed myself forward, and dang... I wasted my time just to see

Naruto gaying Sasuke to come back to Konoha

As a typical shounen manga, I don't have any complaints if you want to train till your limit. It's a good shounen manga IF the character is not such a mary sue! Yeah, I mean you Naruto.

All of his descendants have a connection on Hokage, yet people still treat him like a garbage. Huh?? Mary Sue enough?\Even his reincarnation is some kind of God ninja or something

I love Naruto because some of us can relate to him, making jokes and act stupid to cover the loneliness inside. But after so many chapters, I just saw him yelling about their dreams like Luffy from OP every single time. You know? To achieve your dream, you need to work hard and not lazying around while yelling out loud. And I know he will become the

SEVENTH HOKAGE

in the end of the series only after reading few chapters. Because how obsessed Kishimoto with that number. The story is too predictable and the story is there for Naruto can become the God Ninja Lord. The story is kinda rinse and repeat but not as extreme as Bleach. Too many characters, but only one template: emotionless.

The ending suck:

Everyone is married with KIDS now. At least, Hinata got to be with Naruto which is AWESOME. Sakura with Sasuke like HOW?? And for Sasuke substitute, there is Sai for Ino. Wait! Did they EVER talk to each other?? And after Naruto ends, they milk his son, BORUTO into a thing. Sadly Boruto is suck-er than his dad
