I loved this series quite a lot. The ending chapters were underwhelming. That's just it.

This misunderstanding goes on WAY too long

I really like the story so far (about halfway), except that this extremely basic misunderstanding goes on for way too long. It's not like there aren't plenty of other interesting things happening in the story, so it's not even necessary to keep it up as a point of conflict. Eventually it comes up in conversation and they both just... ignore what the other person said?

It's super frustrating because there's plenty more going on. This isn't one of those one-note romances that is JUST a misunderstanding. There are multiple characters, pressures on the couple from outside and within, and those things continue to develop as the misunderstanding continues. But it becomes so distracting, so drawn out, that it feels like there's no progression in the story at all.

I'm still reading it because it's otherwise good, and I have my fingers crossed that they'll sort it out soon, but my LORD is this irritating.

The whole story revolves around a stupid misunderstanding, which is the use of the word "oppa". I found it really stupid and irritating, and definitely not worth writing a whole story on. For more than half of the story everything is a misunderstanding, and at a certain point it doesn't even make sense anymore. Then, when they clear the misunderstanding, they keep behaving like a bunch of kids. They don't talk things out, they just assume things, they imagine things and create all of these "profound" thoughts in their head that don't even make sense. The relationship between the protagonists remains really toxic until the end, and it's obvious that it is not bound to last. The only things I liked are the drawings and the age-gap. But still, it felt like I wasted my time reading this manhwa.

I really loved this. Even just structurally this felt polished and skillfully done, especially compared to most other manhwa out there that have that amateur feel to it (because they usually are amateur). The sex didn't feel overly gratuitous and it actually pushed the plot forward which feels rare for a smutty manhwa. The way the author created tension between the characters was also skillfully done.

The art took some getting used to, but by the end it was absolutely gorgeous. Especially Sihoon and Mari, talk about glow ups! The progression was slow and felt natural too, so at first I didn't even realize the art was better lol I thought I had just gotten used to the style.

Admittedly the end did leave something wanting. I still felt insecure about their relationship after the last chapter, so I wish there was 10 or so more chapters to give better closure on how they've grown while apart and how they'll move forward together in a way that's better and healthier (better communication, trust, etc.).

Misleading title; Dramatic yet wholesome

Well, I usually try to avoid dramatic media in general (movies, manga, books, etc) since I can't cope that well with the anxiety and pain that accompanies it... Nonetheless, because of the art and the seemingly interesting characters I gave this a chance, and I'm really glad I did.
Like most BL works, this webtoon is full of smutty scenes, but you can actually FEEL the chemistry between the characters, as well as the lust and love they keep inside. Just as I predicted, the drama was too much for my frail heart in some chapters, but I got so immersed in the story that I couldn't stop reading. Everything's a mess here, but you really get to root for their not-so-typical romance and crave the next episode. I actually had to read the korean raws to hang in there while waiting for the english version to update...
Also, in my opinion, it accurately describes the worries an older person goes through when he/she gets a younger lover, regardless of economic situation. It's not so much about having a sugar daddy (of course the sugar daddy premise plays a big role, but looking at the bigger picture, it certainly gets left behind).
Anyway, enough with the rambling. This is certainly not a masterpiece, but breaks away from most of the BL-cliches (while the misunderstanding theme is common, I think the plot itself is very original, and I've read my fair share of both shitty and excellent BL comics) and I feel so good when the MC are together... like my heart was bursting but is now at peace. I highly recommend this if you like drama, kinda-slow romance (compared to other works...), delicious smut, sexy butts and feeling wholesome.

Realistically messy <3

No one in this story is perfect, which is what makes the story feel so realistic. Junyoung is resistant to being with Sihoon at first, but he can't help falling in love. Sometimes, we do get swept away by our emotions. However, that doesn't mean we allow our emotions to control us forever and we could still choose to do what we believe is right. Yet, doing the right thing doesn't always guarantee your happiness... Junyoung had a tough situation on his hands.

A bit of a spoiler, but Sihoon did push Junyoung away for a bit... Sihoon did cause some confusion with Junyoung. Junyoung feared that Sihoon would grow tired of him, which is why the youngster didn't confront Sihoon and never asked Sihoon to be in an exclusive relationship. Junyoung was just afraid and didn't have previous experience to rely on.

If any of us were in Junyoung's position, it's not easy to say what we would do. Junyoung is sincere and looks adorable, which we could see how Sihoon fell for him.

SPOILER: Junyoung did intend to have sex with Hyuk but it didn't happen. Junyoung even pushed Hyuk away and said he wasn't ready. Junyoung just couldn't forget Sihoon, just like how Sihoon couldn't forget Junyoung.

As much as Junyoung misunderstood, Sihoon also never talked about his family life to illustrate it clearer that he's not married... Junyoung and Sihoon don't know a lot about each other's background to be honest. They still have a lot more to learn about each other.

Throughout the entire story, we could see Sihoon and Junyoung fall in love with each other. They fall in love with the way the other person treats them and the way they look at each other... They're both very genuine.

The uke is an asshole

Junyoung is a guy with no previous romantic experience. The first time Junyoung gets romantically involved with someone, his character appears to be very bad even thought the writer wanted to portray him as the pure type. Although he is unsure about Sihoon's relationship status, he accepts the messy situation he created in his head as the truth without actually carrying a conversation with Sihoon in order to set the foundations of their relationship straight from the start. He doesn't ask to be in an exclusive relationship but he wants to be exclusive. He sleeps with someone that in his mind is a husband to another person and an illicit lover to his best friend, Mari. He thinks that he's the victim in a situation he created in his head, he is not open to his partner about the things that bother him and he treats Sihoon like he's actually the sinister person Junyoung made him out to be. He uses him for sexual relief and he immediately pushes him away, saying he wants to break up. He just as fast forgets about his broken heart and all that jazz and seduces a random guy (that previously confessed to him and told him that he doesn't mind being his "friend" until Junyoung breaks up with Sihoon, so that he can ask him out again when that happens) and agrees to have sex with this new dude less than a week after the breakup! Mind that, this whoooole time he excused his actions (=supposedly having an affair with a married man that is also keeping Junyoung's bestfriend as a side-piece) due to the strong feelings he held for the older guy, but it takes him no time to actually move on to another guy.

Basically, even though the basic idea behind this story is very interesting and the art is cute ( the huge foreheads that all the characters have in this series will grow on you eventually), I find the uke very irritating and that ruins the whole thing. He's a self-centered bitch, he's a slave to his own desires and most importantly his lust. He want to present himself as a pure person but the moment he involved himself with someone, he acted like a total asshole and left his partner wondering: "What have I done to deserve this? What's going on in his head? Should I play along with his games since the sex is good?". Sihoon is decent human being and I feel sorry for him. He was emotionally unattached to other people for sooo long and he had to fall for a douchebag. He deserves better.
