I am so invested in the main story - really didn't see it coming. So many intriguing characters - especially the female lead! Plot openings that leave me wanting to know more! The art is unique but simplistic and at times a little too generic, but overall passable.
But the Romance is on the "Meh" side for me. The ML is a tad too simp-y. He seemingly possesses no aspirations that aren't linked to the FL meanwhile the FL wants nothing more than for him to actually have aspirations. Their interactions feel so clumsy, their misunderstandings so easily solved if they could communicate better.
Sometimes it seems like they are finally on the verge of talking through their issues and then BAM! Another character conveniently barges in and we pretend like the previous conversation never happened. Even worse is when one of the two leads just doesn't finish their sentence EVEN THOUGH THAT SENTENCE COULD VERY WELL CLEAR EVERYTHING UP - and just leaves? It feels very inorganic and it distracts from the exciting plot.
