Some ppl I’ve seen reviewing/commenting on this manhwa on other sites are stupid as fck. Woohyun has never ever wanted to use Doha for his own benefit. Doha was the one who offered to date as an attempt to get Woohyun to like him, knowing full well Woohyun likes Mr Nam. Woohyun has never expected a relationship with Mr Nam, he confessed because he didn’t know what else to do and didn’t tell Doha cause he didn’t want to hurt his feelings. Mr Nam understands and has gone through what Woohyun is going through, and he’s offering his support as a teacher, and is handling this whole thing like an adult. Woohyun is doing the best he can with his feelings, and Doha excepts him while at knowing that.

Y'all need to understand that this whole point of story was for Wohyoon to get over Mr Nam and like Doha by then dating until Graduation. If he doesn't have any feelings for Doha, they'll stop.
He know he need to stop having feelings for Mr Nam. And that's what he's doing. He can't just say "stop" and have the feelings gone. That's not how it is. And he can't just say "start" to start having feeling for Doha.
All of this are logical and have nothing wrong. Y'all need to calm down and wait. Not even 10 chapter in and you ppl already start bashing the teacher when we knew nothing yet.

The ending: I know it's a heart warming ending but I'd like to see more. It’s satisfying but not satisfying at the same time 😭. I want to see more of them when Doha gets back and just their relationship in general 😫

Im greedy for more. but I'm happy with how it all worked out. The Mc Wooyoung (Seme) was soooo caring and considerate omg 😭 I love how even though he had many opportunities to, he never intentionally played around with/used Doha or took advantage of Doha’s feelings for him 😭♥️ and omg he asks for consent!! Green flag! And Doha (uke), with his flaws, was the bravest character. So life worked out in their favour.
Wish we could have seen more of their long distance relationship tho 💔

This was just the kind of highschool romance I love 😭😭♥️♥️ the way they openly showed their affection and came out to their friends 😭♥️ wish we could have seen them coming out to their families too (would have loved to see MC’s brother’s reaction!)

Communication is king

This story was realistic in how it depicted high school students. The main character, Woohyun, was a confused high school student, and high school students are often kids who don't always know what they want. On the opposite hand the other male lead, Doha, knew exactly what he wanted and wasn't afraid to communicate it. He would be considered "manly" despite looking smaller and more "girly." And I really liked that subversion of the weak, confused uke and strong, manly seme tropes.

As a couple, I was really glad that they communicated (for the most part) even if it took some time and weren't afraid to express their emotions. In the day to day, they were really cute together and had all these tiny little moments that the reader could see how they would work so well together. (Clingy Woohyun is soooo cute.) I also liked the teacher in this story and how he handled himself in regard to his students. He was a proper adult, and we know that isn't always the case in yaoi stories.

The pacing and the tension in this story was balanced very well...until the very end. I agree with another commenter that it ended very rushed in comparison to the rest, and I feel

it kinda went against everything the story stood for before this point about communication, moving on, and letting go of the past. Like I'm fine with the studying abroad trope but still being madly in love after FOUR years? Maybe cut it down to one year or something.

Reading the author's comments at the end, I could see how the author was very deliberate about what they wanted to express and it really showed.

Rushed Ending

The pros = Season 1 and 2 were great. The pacing of the storyline was good until (English version on Manta) season 2 episode 43 (of 50). The artwork is beautiful.

The cons = Towards the end of season 2 the story pacing becomes rushed, there is a time jump, and everything that took 43 episodes to develop is half baked into the last episode.
