Came here expecting a badly written story, with a childish FL, silly romance and not well-handled age gap romance.
Tbh the only reason I put it on my TRL was thanks to ML pretty-handsome face and the cover art that caught my eyes.
Well, after binging 40 episodes in on sitting, I'm glad to tell you that I was terribly wrong and I'm sorry for misjudging this story.
First things first FL. Despite what people think, FL is not childish. She comes off and is indeed naive and a bit candid, but she's not childish nor dumb.
Her naivety is due to her upbringing (her mother being extremely controlling >! down to how she still dresses her, telling her to get back home early etc...!<) and this matter is addressed in the story.
FL is a 25 yo adult and acts like it imho. She knows how to assert herself, she knows how to draw the line with her students and ML, she knows how and when to step in...
Her personality, her behavior, the way she thinks are all tied up to her storyline with her mother and it's totally relevant to the plot.
Too many times did I read age gap romance with FLs acting the same age as their underaged MLs, so I'm glad the author didn't make this mistake here.
Secondly, my main grip was how the author was going to handle the age gap part. I don't read many age gap romance to begin with cause, if I don't mind sensitive and controversial topics, I hate how most of the time authors don't know how to handle them.
Here the ML is 18 I think, so technically no underaged party.
Next, the author did not introduced any romance until very late in the story. Where I am at (Ch.40), FL has not shown any romantics feelings or thoughts towards her student. She's in love with another man and I'm pretty sure the author will let her put a end to her unrequited feelings first, before starting anything with ML (and I'm also sure before that there will be a time skip). She never acted inappropriately with ML, she doesn't go out of her way to be involved with him either, in fact she drew the line many times and tried to put some distance between them (I was even caught off guard many times because there were moments when I was expecting author to bring them together).
As for ML, he has is own issues and it's only now >!starting from ch.29!> that he started catching feelings for her, but it's still some budding feelings.
Last of my long review (sorry for that), I LOVE how the author draws ML dancing. He seems so athletic, so intense, strong ... His muscles, his corpulence, his movements... Feels like I'm reading a dance manhwa, with an author who have some knowledge or at least watched lots of videos of dancers.
