Description

Not a single thought was put into any of their actions. Lyk gurl why are you going into this weird loop of Everythingisgoingwrongimgonnadie BABES they've never even met!!! (ml and the original fl) and you think he's cheating on you already😕
That's just pure disrespect for him cause after what you guys have been through? Where is the trust? Nope just run away with my unborn child because i THINK my husband is cheating?? Idk maybe talk about it?? Crazy b***h
So 7yrs pass and they finally meet again after ml has gone literally insane trying to look for fl. Ya think hes gonna be happy cause finally he found her BUT NO mf really talking about YoU hUrT mE (cause she left him) WHILE PHYSICALLY RESTRAINING HER and refusing to listen to anything; although girlie doesn't say anything either but just gets caught up with his bs.
Poor daughter she should leave them both.

It's impossible to get on board with the female lead or the male lead in this one. The female lead knows the plot of the novel and that it's likely she will be cheated on by her husband. However, like a lot of female leads in similar plot lines, she just keeps on assuming the male lead will cheat on her no matter how much the plot moves in new directions.

There's a scene where the FL thinks she sees her fiance kissing the new 'saintess' or whatever. But I find it hard to believe that she actually thought the ML, having literally just met the saintess, would be cheating on her already. Also, the FL has had what she believes to be a perfectly loving and healthy relationship with the ML up until this point, so why wouldn't she choose to talk things out with him before running off with his unborn child?

Let's set we get on board with her rationale for running away. Things unfortunately get even more enraging. The FL allows seven years to pass with no news of the ML actually marrying the saintess like she feared, and yet she continues to keep him from his child.
The ML is actually a bit crazy from the very beginning, so I think the author is hoping the reader will align more with the FL's way of thinking because of that. But the FL isn't even aware of his obsessive personality, so it makes no sense.
Because of the FL's betrayal, the ML is driven even more insane searching for her for seven years. And what happens when they meet again - the FL refuses to explain why she left, and lies about the father of her child.

Genuinely, I empathise more with the insane ML and that's saying something.
