The idea is a pretty normal one in the horror genre I would say and it did have some potential until everything took a turn way too fast. Random ass plot points are included in order to make the story make sense especially with the backstory. LIke there was some semblance of order but it was just so random. Also, I thought it would be finished by now but w/ c.129, it leaves with a cliff hanger? I don't know anymore. Turn off brain and read if you really want to.
As per usual, Hokazono knows what he's writing. The pacing is so thrilling to the point of becoming addictive. The art is befitting of the genre.
Also to the person who wanted "proper rape," there's a lot of hentai out there for sickos like you.
I highly recommend this to anyone who wanted to read manga about Christianity. On the plus side there is a lot of gore. On the minus side there is no proper r*** - only a few shallow attempts were girls are rescued by plot armor. And since this manga is unfinished it still has the time to redeem itself and add what is missing.
It starts violently then becomes character focused. There's a plot that you need to get to after some dark events that happen but the characters thoughts are relatable; particuallary Ami and the MC.
The characters do act dumb sometimes but its not like screaming at your screen dumb. Its more of a lack of knowledge or do the thing you are told otherwise it gets worse dumb.
The way the creepy origin of the island plays out is plausible but the initial cause for what you think is going on is just a red herring. The actual cause causes a "its this so don't question it unless its plot relevant."
I don't really have high expectations for these types of stories since its a "turn your brain off" and contemplate what you will do for survivor scenario but done worse.
Stay to see how the characters get out of the situation but not much else.
