STATE IMPORTANT POINTS SUCCINCTLY
(1) This series is very clear about its theme and true to it throughout. In this manga's world "Gender Morals", what is mentally, socially, and culturally viewed as acceptable/normal behaviour and conduct for men and women in our world, are exchanged for men and women in the reversed world.
(2) There is a lot of crude language and swears in the Manga. So many that I cannot even review it without using swears and sexually explicit words (starred out swears like f***) so please pardon me as I try to keep it unoffensive and respectful. Some partial nudity is included in the manga so be warned before reading it. Determine if this is appropriate for you before reading.
(3) This series is not really ecchi as I understand it. It's better to call it a "dirty comedy" genre that is not sexually arousing and does not really have fan service (I don't get the feeling that nudity/partial nudity is included for fan service. Which is strange.), but it is clearly a very perverse manga.
(4) This series is not hentai, but it is a dirty vulgar comedy with teenage female characters whose brains are filled with porno and oogling men. The female main character comes from our world and is thus always confronted with baffling/embarassing/awkward situations as she tries to navigate her new reality offbeat.
(5) This series is very original. I have never read anything like it before. Although there are some manga that have worlds with dominant females in them they are not for the purpose of humor or true to trying their best to exactly reverse "Gender Morals".
(6) It is a bit episodic, where each new chapter follows a routine. The main character notices something peculiar ---> ends up misunderstanding or messing up societal norms thus embarrassing herself needlessly ---> comedy ensues.
(7) People will either like this manga or hate it. If you are like me then you probably already realized that therapy will never correct your deviancy. Anyways, there are so many reasons to hate or love this manga. The dirty comedy doesn't pull punches. Is that good or bad? Should we all be offended or laugh?
(8) This series mostly makes sense and that is why this world feels very alien, but somewhat believable. How believable/real it seems will vary from reader to reader though. At times I find myself stumped by a situation in the world that is clearly the exact opposite of real society that I live in, but end up wondering if it could actually hold true in a real alternate world. Is my sense of logic/normalcy just a gender bias, or is this manga/myself Fxxxing stupid? This manga tries hard and goes all the way to reverse every situation. I might as well give some examples.
Males can be called sluts for being promiscuous while female virginity has no value.
Sexual advertisements (like women wearing bikini's and promoting beer) and pornography is now gender flipped while now primarily targeting women.
It's not viewed as okay for men to take their clothing/shirts off or wear skimpy clothing or provocative clothing (tight pants showing their packages).
"Just calm down and think! Guys can't come as often compared to girls. So of course they aren't horny like us! But for us? We can keep having sex and come multiple times! We're free to sleep around, to have sex with anyone we please! So of course we'd turn out to be the hornier sex! We're the ones who can get pregnant and give birth. So if we aren't born horny ... The world's declining birth rate will ... The world will end!"
My Thoughts: Well, alright ... it has me second guessing my own world's logic. Would population growth go up or down if women were more into it, or if women were less culturally, morally and sexually reserved/repressed? Population growth definitely has something to do with the number of sexually viable females. It doesn't really matter if there are a bunch of potent men; all that is needed is one man to a bunch of fertile women to increase population. A male slut can impregnate many women contributing significantly to population growth, but a female slut can only get pregnant once at most in a short period of time. lol
In response to the main character describing her normal world to her female friends, "Then if I were a whore there'd be lot's of men after me?! I would be able to Fxxx all the pretty boys from class! And they'd also pay for that?! Is that heaven?!"
(9) There are a lot of over-sexualized and objectified men in this manga. Not as main characters until later, but as a world setting. So I can relate to the female main character whose sense of normalcy is constantly jarred by advertisements of men with bulging packages promoting beer on the side of buildings thrust into her face.
(10) I don't think that this series is particularly targeted at either men or women. That is part of the confusion of it all. Who is the target audience? Who reads this? It clearly wants to stay true to a "gender moral reversed world" and sexually explicit comedy with no other goals.
This series clearly rattles my senses and is bizarre. That is why I like it. I can get past the crude jokes and heavily sexually explicit language that make this manga not for everyone. It is clearly funny at times, but the humor is heavy and eye-popping.
