Description

Danger can come in many shapes and sizes, and the kind of danger Yeo Eui-Joon has to deal with comes in the form of buff, brash, belligerent gangsters. He knew that working nights in a shifty neighborhood wouldn't be the safest job on the planet, but reality sure does exceed expectations. However, Eui-Joon's days as the neighborhood punching bag look like they're coming to a close when Gunwoo steps into this small store. Gunwoo, gruff as he is, genuinely seems to care about Eui-joon's well-being, so it doesn't take long for Eui-joon to fall for this charismatic giant.

I can't tell it's one of my favs but I enjoyed it a lot! I've started it a long time ago and forgot about finishing it and now started it from the beginning which made me enjoyed it more I think. It was lacking a little especially in the story after Ahjuicy left;/ I didn't like how Joonie became so stupid after this💀 His standards went so low. At least he has changed. I was also kinda sad that they didn't tell almost anything about Ahjuicy's work. I get they did it to make him more misterious but I think I would enjoyed it a little more if they told anything about it. Either way it's definitely work reading if you consider it!! Ps. When will I find my Ahjuicy....

Getting Back Together? with lots of intimate scenes? Sign me up! The story was nicely written. The artstyle and character design were exactly what defined them. Also, the pacing was quite good. That Euijoon's dream was my favorite part of all. (frankly speaking, that special was the saviour of the story)

Euijoon is the essence of beauty and luminescence; every time I see him, I feel pure delight and the warmth of the sun; he is extremely well-written! you'll love how open Euijoon about his feelings and Ahjussi were willing to listen to it 24/7. I can't say anything about Ahjussi, but he's probably the most realistic character in terms of the story's plot, but I kinda don't like his attitude too cold lol.

The relationship was simply mature. Everything was exactly right, with plenty of intimate scenarios. I adore how Ahjussi gradually expresses human emotions in stark contrast to Euijoon's demeanor, but I can't deny that I felt off everytime they included sexual activity after making up. Still, I enjoyed the story! It was beautiful.

Slight? Spoiler! They didn't reveal Ahjussi's backstory, which definitely made him mysterious and up to Euijoon to discover; I adore that detail ^^

Whithout the special side stories i would have given the rating 8 or 8.5, but our couple got cuter in them!!! They had a long road to their happiness, but when they finaly had it, it was the best thing!! They really deserved it!! <3

That was fun! Sure, there's nothing groundbreaking and a bit of a sagging middle, but the ending was so cute and sweet, I'm glad I kept reading it even though the whole thing could have been shorter.

I liked that, despite being a classic crybaby bottom, Eui-Joon still had a minimal backbone. And that our hot Ahjuicy is respectful of his wishes, even if he can't communicate. It's nice to see a romance between flawed characters work!

It just nothing but surface and shallow af.

I'm amazed by this rating 😂 it really doesn't deserve this high rating for many reasons but just for one reason alone I seriously disappoint by this high rating and this is , author didn't know anything about something called "pace" and "climax" in a story ... It was just dragged for the sake of it and ended felt all over the place , too amateurish.

The whole story is ,Suddenly an old cold quite "straight" kinda homophobic BIG gangster guy fall for a dumb, naive , in debut poor and soooo pitiful pretty weak boy aka Cinderella , out of blue 😂 the biggest reason I hate uke is he always judges others so fast, impatient and never mind his own business, always nagging and cry so much, I see him and always think , can he stfu for two second and waiting for ppl to actually get used to him so they opened up to him?! He is just So annoying and flustering 😩

There is zero reason for him to like that guy and author made nothing for what bring him to like a "guy" in the first place , they have sex after 10 chapters lol he just liked him and fall crazy for that poor Cinderella . The whole reason he liked that dumb kid was "oh he is a pretty slim twink who blush every two second, he cry every two second and he has pretty neck so let me f*ck him"
well I can accept it if he just sexually attracted to that boy , which is still stupid bcz he clearly seen more than enough twinks, I don't see the reason he fall in love so easily if u get his personality 😂
It was fun and everything but seriously I hate how authors don't bother to make a deep connection before they going to each other pants. They just make a blushing dude who looks like a girl and call it a day.

Ik yaoi is all fantasy and stuff but I still want they respect gay ppl a little more.
The only reason I give it this score and read it till the end was that guy Ahjuicy, he was hot 😂 and interesting, wished author bothered to wrote a better love interest for him, someone who can stand firmly next to him but sigh ....

Anyway if u like a medicare smut, so many smut chapters , a girly uke who crying easily blushed every second, a shallow story pretending to be deep, side characters play as a useless wall and never get a single development as character, a boring dragged story after 50 chapter and a hot seme with gigantic D, read it.

Ahjuicy (seme) really is fine until the end. Older guys have this inexplainable sexiness to them especially in fiction like this! I really love everything about this story. Especially the point of views of both characters. I don’t think I need to talk much about this story since for sure, I’ll always remember them. Definitely worth the read and re-reading! The art is good, especially the subtle blush they put on Ahjuicy since not all guys blush too much.

Classic trope, excellent delivery

This starts with a classical trope of giant quiet gangster vs pitiful but bright little thing, with a gap in age and in socioeconomic standing. This isn't my favourite trope, because it usually goes in pair with dub-con or non-con, but it really develops the characters well and beyond the trope's expectations. The characters' depth, how they are fleshed, their multidimensional personality shows the author's skills.
I've personally liked the 3rd season better than the 2nd one,

Although I like Chaehyun, I never seen him as endangering Euijun/Ahjussi. In the 3rd season I love how their anguish is portrayed and how Euijun life is supposedly perfect (brother, job, boyfriend) but in the end it's not what he needs but I guess it's about personal taste.
I found myself reading parts of it again, much to my suprise because I really like the story.

The author also have a detailed vision of the settings, and it brings out the story even better. The pacing, the POVs, the framing angle are impeccable. There's also some frames that comes on parallel to eachother which show the author's skills level.

Amazing turning point

I almost gave up in the beginning and I'm happy that I trusted the good comments. The first part make me a little tired of the "good and naive protagonist" (maybe I read too much of this genre + gangstas/no gangsta couple). And I was expecting that it turned into a more tragically story tropo, or the protagonist never shine. It surprise me for good and the time between the second part and the final part made all the difference in my perception and how emotionally invested I became in the end.
