...who hates "why choose". This has too many pointless women in it. Of course, they are ALL in desperate love with the MC. MC is collecting them like Pokemon cards.

And he doesn’t even have the decency to pick the rare ones. Nope. If they're even vaaaaaguely nice looking they'll become one of his concubines. He's even got a

So much stupidity and nonsense. What's the point when there's

Ghost Cultivation? Killing martial artists without somehow destroying their spirit means they can STILL level up without a physical body.

From decent to mediocre to bad

It was going well enough, as well as you can expect from an urban cultivation story at least, the plot is kinda bland and completely unoriginal but that's to be expected, jerks abound but were kept to bearable amounts and MC was ok, not too overbearing but overall fair, not abusive nor ostentatious (for the genre). But... approaching the 100 chapter hurdle this one is a bust too... you don't just kill someone for being mean to someone and then that someone's father because he attacks in anger, or at least you shouldn't if you are a sane person and a little face-slapping is expected but cutting someone's hand and draw it as if it was something to laugh about... Don't get me wrong, if the antagonist, ruined your life, raped you or you family, killed a friend, wanted to kill or similar grave reason or, if the MC's forced in some way by fate or circumstances beyond him, by all means kill him, I dislike the goody two shoes type of chars. But if the MC's going to be a jerk, at least the author has to own it and don't make him look like the good guy. If lucky it's the very bad translation which never helps.

I don't know what it is with authors in the genre but the obsessive need with face-slapping, the MC acting like he stands in a morally higher ground, the little regard for human life, the usual immaturity of all actors and the comedy... the mash-up usually doesn't end well and hardly any urban cultivation mahua/manhwa manages to keep being decent (much less good) after a while. This one was going better than others, was a little less immature, but the 100ch glitch hit it. Maybe it'll go back to being somewhat decent, but I can't remember a manga that went back on track after derailing on moral grounds. What irks me the most is that anyone reading this kind of stories will see the comments of others clamoring for the MC to kill anyone for whatever petty offence... wth?

I'm trying to think of a decent urban cultivation manhua/manhwa as alternative, the only one that comes to mind is "The descent of the demonic master" hope it fares better the 100+ chapter wall.
