Description

I really liked the premise, the first couple and the overall art/atmosphere.

However, I think I started feeling that it was a bit boring...? Or the overall pacing was very slow...The first couple: I felt like their characters were not very consistent? Somehow? Their actions...their motives...the character types...

I was kind of confused by all the reviews on here but yeah I can agree regarding "disappearing" characters at least with the first couple (I mean...the author introduces us to the ex and there's some conflict about it for a few chapters but then he never gets immediately mentioned/seen anymore? The problem just disappears by sleeping with him one last time? ?.

I feel like the author should have focused on just two sets of couples. BUT for sure should have focused on just the first couple.

Dropped around 28 chapters

On one hand I really like many things about the story, but on the other hand, as many other readers pointed out, the way the story unfolds is very strange: The main couple just disappeared before their story really ends and we follow another couple's story out of nowhere. Some characters are strange and hardly credible.

Yes, it has many flaws: characters suddenly disappear, couples hinted with no development, sudden change of main couple. Still, i liked it lots.

During all seasons what I liked the most was drama, angst and unresolved sexual tension. And it's full of it.

The way it starts with Youngwon discovering Haemin's secret is completely to my likes and how their relationship changes and when we discover that Youngwon is head over heels for Haemin since before Haemim knows who he is, was amazing. Still, somehow I would have liked that Haemin really let him go even for a short time, i think it would help them to be alone instead of solving it so fast as they did.

Anyways, when second season ends with our main couple getting together and starting to be very lovey dovey, I thought they would drag the story by making them broke up and get together bc they love each other so much at the end. So, you can imagine my surprise when Haemin suddenly started to be a side character. After a while, I thought that the autor intention was to show us how the couples got together and not much of their daily lives being couples, so it made sense to me, at that moment I felt that the new couple was placed somehow "naturally" bc the way Haemin got this job was the transition to tell the next story. Even so, If you ask me which one i liked the most, Sanho and Dongha were my favorite couple even when Haemin and Youngwon had many tropes that i like so much. Thus, I would have liked that Sanho and Dongha had their proper story since i think it was a bit rushed considering their character's introduction and development was done in the same season.

At the end of the day it was a nice ride, it could have had a better execution but I had fun reading it.

Disappointing.

So, it starts off with one couple which the series is literally named after. There's an interesting dynamic. There's character growth.... But then there's MASSIVE character failures

Characters are introduced to maybe (?) provide drama and then are literally never seen or mentioned again
Interesting side characters are set up and even side relationships are hinted at (as maybe a spin off or to be expanded upon later in the series) but then they completely disappear. Never to be heard of or seen ever again, even though they were actually amusing.
Once the main couple get together their personalities do an entire 180 out of nowhere
Can you even call them the main couple? The series may be titled after them but once they get together, two new characters are introduced out of nowhere and the rest of the series is about them and only them. No follow up on the "main", no crossover chapters showing all four people. In fact, the one character is never mentioned or seen again.
once the series "finishes" you're left wondering why the hell you read all of that. There's no real pay off. Even the epilogues barely show anything, so why were they even written?

All in all its a series that introduces interesting people just to never do anything with them and then make them disappear into oblivion, while barely having any story progression, and never giving a payout in the end.

Unlikable characters and couple switch

This one was tough for me to enjoy because Haemin started out as a bit of a creep, and Youngwon had a terrible personality that he kept for a long time until he suddenly turned docile, so it was hard for me to root for them.

I stopped mid-way through Season 3 because Youngwon had not shown up in several chapters and Haemin had become more of a side character for a new couple. The new couple basically came out of nowhere, so I feel like they should have been put in a new webtoon instead of in season 3 of a webtoon that had nothing to do with them.
