If i did not love the whole premise and especially the main character so much, I would say this is a common story that used quite a lot imagination to camouflage itself as something different.
The main character is by far the most likable and interesting thing in the whole story. I am sure whoever reads this coming from the anime, will know what I mean.
One of the biggest + of this anime, is that it uses no excessive ecchi scenes (you know, the ones that make the manga/anime look like hentai) to attract people. It is all about the story. Mind you I am a fan of mild ecchi, but I feel delighted to see that even "new" manga do not need to pull the half naked card, so they can win their audience.
It is mentioned by other comments too, but it seems a lot of people gave a bad mark, cause they did not like the ending.. or more like who the hero chooses by the end. For me it was not the girl/s I was rooting for, but that did NOT ruin the end. I actually was wondering what kind of ending it would have, cause I have read the comments before. I was pleasantly shocked to find out that the ending was nice and satisfying.
No offence to people that disliked it, but I would hate it more if it was left TOTALLY open, leaving in in the imagination of the read what happens after. Like Keima said; a game without an ending, is a shity game.
Loved reading it and felt satisfied with it's ending.
I want to point out that I do not believe it is a perfect story. The 10 again is mostly because I liked Keima and I was fully pleased throughout the whole manga. There are times that it feels like they were added in to fill up more volumes, while on other points it feels the story gets too rushed. Amusingly enough, Keima mentions something alike withing the story, which actually makes the experience more funny and lighter for me.
Whoever like me ends up reading from comments here that he actually ends up with someone, enjoy like I did wondering and thinking who it will be. For better or worse, I think his choice was not bad. If anything, it was exactly fitting for him.
Would read this again for sure!
