Main couple deserves each other in their toxicity

This one is really a mixed bag.
Yes it's a typical shoujo and has the typical pitfalls of the genre (stupid FL, misunderstandings, unnecessary drama, love triangles...)
But the cliché excuse doesn't work on problematic points that don't add anything to the story.

Even for the genre this manga has serious issues with the notion of consent. Of all the kisses and physical contacts FL has with many characters, barely any are consented, it's crazy. She's beyond being a meek pushover.

ML does basically sexually harasses her when they date and before and all she does is feeling guilty about not being sexy? When Leon comments on that it's supposed to be a joke... Speaking of Leon, when he forcekisses her, her reaction is to think SHE has offended him. And when the brother stole her first kiss she was mad at him for having offended ML not her.

You're better off ignoring that the characters are supposed to be in high school because either the author is bad at math or most of these kids are precocious (or I'm a prude IDK).

ML has a girlfriend at like 11 and picks up older girls on the beach at maybe 12.

Adults don't blink at this either like it's normal

for his girlfriend who's around 15 to marry his brother who is in his mid 20s at that point. The dad gets tricked at first that ML is a 26 teacher obviously touchy with his daughter like it's ok. What was that nymphomaniac teacher propositioning a high schooler, nobody blinked at that one either. Let's also not forget the 25-something sister who asks two teenagers to make out in front of her to prove they are dating and sleeping together.

The lack of consistency or logic went through the window after a few chapters, I just gave up.

The dad blows a fuse at the idea of FL living with a guy, then 5min later allows two horny dating teenagers to live together without any supervision and expects that a banner and a pinky promise are enough for them to be chaste until graduation. As if. Also the school suspends students who had sex (how do they even know?) and nothing happens when the whole school knows about the main couple dating (it was announced on the megaphone...)

I read this manga while jetlagged and missing neurones and that was the perfect condition to appreciate it, nothing to lose x)
Good angst at around chapter 25 and I really liked the second MLs (the only non-assholes...).
Too many unnecessary arcs past the first third of the series. Despite dragging for dozens of chapters they still managed to rush the end, such a bad pacing takes skills...

what the f with this female main lead, all that need is to be recognized as good guy by her, and get a little closer to her and that's all, you can kiss her f her all you want and you won't even see her resisting that much...

But still there are really good and earnest plots here and there, so for someone it might turn out to be a good read though.
I personally liked the relationship between shuseei sister and the senior guy living downstairs 😁.

Honestly this manga was a rollercoaster to read because sometimes I really loved and enjoyed reading it and other times I just wanted it to be over
I don't think the main characters are likeable but I still think they were pretty well written - the male lead barely cares about anything and is a jerk a lot of the time and the protagonist is annoyingly naive (though they do get better in the later chapters)

they both treat eachother badly at different times throughout the manga but I mean the male lead straight up slaps the protagonist in the face to make her shut up in ch 44 like it's nothing and she doesn't say anything about it - she let's him push her around the entire first half of the story
Out of all the things I had issues with (like them trying to convince her dad living together as high schoolers was okay and the male lead telling everyone they live together right away while the protagonist actually tries to keep it a secret) I couldn't get over that slap

But over all I managed to actually really enjoy this manga - it's easy to find fault with anything but it made me feel a lot of things and turned out to be more thought provoking than I expected so there's that
I mean it's shoujo so just don't take it too seriously and it can be a really fun read
The manga definitely improves in the later chapters - there's a cute slice of life feel to some of them that show the progress of the characters' relationship in an endearing way and the art is pretty great
By the end it's pretty adorable

The story is very lighthearted and fun to read. It made me feel happy and warm on the inside. I love how the relationship between Aoi and Shuusei was developed. It was kind of weird how there were so many love triangles but I expected this to happen (since I was reading a shoujo manga after all).

It was really good in the beginning, then the flow if story and introduction of new characters got pretty bad, but it got better and now I cannot stop reading it!! Love the latest chapters, their everyday interaction is enjoyable to read. Slow but satisfying. The art is very beautiful too.

There are some cute and endearing moments..
But I'm quickly turned off by the shoujo cliches that keeps appearing in this manga..
Cliches are not bad... but its poorly executed by the author..
It's also weird how new characters just suddenly show up and the next minute they are out of the picture... The author doesn't put emphasis in character build up for them...
To be honest I can't even remember their name anymore...
I also don't like how the girl is easily manipulated or lead by other people...

I just don't know...
It's a normal shoujo that I don't have great attachment or passion for it...
I'm looking for a good plot in a manga and I'm not easily swayed by handsome male lead anymore...

around volume 6 the main character goes extremely weak. I would even say annoying and clingy. i don'tknow how the series can be dragged for over 15 volumes...in volume 10 the main character, if possible, gets WEAKER...one actually appreciates the guy mor and more and how straight forward the guy seems to be...of course who knows, but that's my current opinion as of vol 10

I hated it. It was so jumpy, and I hated the flow. But it got better over time and grew on me, it's been a long while since I've been so invested in a romantic couple in ANY manga at all. It's good. Started it to waste time and now I can't wait for the next translation <3. Yayyy The plot just flows pretty well together, I honestly couldn't obviously predict what was going to happen. I absolutely love that.

In the beginning- till it gets good or you start caring- I genuinely had a blast picking on and hating all of the characters. I was just criticizing everything but that in it's own way was fun. Then it eventually got good

Seriously, this gotta be one of the most stupid shoujo mangas I've ever read. It's typical out of the typical shoujos. The storyline is too common. The 'prince' of the school and the girl is an idiot desperate to experience love as if her whole world is revolving around it. Wanting to fall in love is not a bad thing, to do stupid things that sometimes almost trample on your dignity.. At first, I thought this is gonna be a promising one since the girl had the guts to confront the guy for rejecting her friend. I thought she's gonna be one strong female character, but in the end, she's just like any other girls. :/ And there's this part that the girl says 'I want to kiss him so that I can make him happy because I love him'. <- WTF. And then she goes reading 'Advises on kissing' magazines. I really find that embarrassing and really stupid. She is also assuming in the first chapters. :/ And during the part that they were caught living together by their father, the girl insists on continuing living like that as if it's a normal thing to do. The things that happens on this manga can only exists in dreams of people in real life. LOL.

This kind of story reminds me of love 'pocketbooks' that can be purchased here in our country. Maybe a part of the reason of my dislike in this manga.

Actually, before I started to read this, I just finished Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun. At first, the latter didn't impress me much. But after reading this L-DK, I realized how Tonari has much more sense and realism that I'm unable to appreciate before. LOL.

Well, for those who wants to start reading shoujos, or those who're waiting for their favorite mangas' new releases, and if you have nothing to do, it may be recommended but I suggest that you find others more worth reading. It's more like for people who has such fantasies in love. That's all.

I'm a total sucker when it comes to these types of manga...I don't know why I always choose to read it but I always end up complaining about it. And the worst part is, is that I can't seem to drop this manga LOL. Must. Finish. Till. The. End...

I think it's cute. I mean her parents approve. I think if it ended at the chapter where her father let them be together...that would have been a really cute ending..but no.

Now we'll have to see the obstacles they face..blahblahblah.
