I liked the plot and the art style was pretty good.
At first the story was good but I don't know why the av crap was added. when he accept the job, all was ruined. I didn't liked it at all.
and the end was really rushed.

I started this waaaaay back and only finished it now. Kodaka-sensei to me generally feels kind of outdated with her type of BL-stories, but when I keep that in mind it's easier to just read and enjoy. There are many stupid plotpoints that felt like they could have easily been avoided, but with the cuteness of the kids and the general way these fathers found each other and grew closer I managed to ignore the redundant AV plot.

Oscillates-Good, Okay, and Bad

Doing a story with between a straight-married-now-bereaved-with-one-child-uke and a seme with another's child, is definitely something that cannot be taken lightly and is tremendously difficult to pull off. This manga has not done it, there are slip ups and cuts, but I won't say this is a complete disaster either. Usually, these type of settings annoy me to no end, and the way children are dragged in to be used as props is just irritating.
There are moments when this manga really works out. The character are not shallow or sex-crazed beasts. They learn from their mistakes, hesitates, move forward and pull back (and also get mysteriously drunk real quick). Also, the manga is surprisingly mature in certain areas and deals quite well with the children, 'respectable job', being gay and falling in love.
The art work is also very cute, clean and solid.
If the setting and overall narrative was a bit different, maybe a bit more like Yozora no Sumikko de,, I could have probably liked it more. As it is now, its full of holes and needless divergences.

I agree with everyone's comments here. It hoenstly seemed like Kentarou didn't really express his feelings properly to Asakura. Though I can"t blame him for accepting the job (since he needed quick money). Idk I just feel like Kentarou's a coward when it comes to his love for Asakura.

I really liked this one. The story wasn't original (there's been many about single fathers before), but the dynamic between the characters and the sweet atmosphere in the manga had me hooked.

However, in the last few chapters, there were holes. There was no resolution about Hikaru's love for Kentarou, and what ever happened to the rest of the movie (did they do the deed yet and clarification that Asakura knows everything that went on)? Really, it was a good story and the art was cute, but things got a little too tense and jumbled at the end.

Everything was so good and cute until last few chapters, totally ruined it for me. They change my opinion on Kentarou's character, he turned from the great hero to a disgusting coward.

And what about Asakura's reaction to the av job, huh? He didn't just kiss someone else the other day, he fucked someone else. Is it because it's his job, so it's ok for Asakura? Asakura looked super relived after he found out that Kentarou didn't have a lover, that he just fucked Hikaru that's all. Wow! Really!?! I seriously don't like Kentarou in the later chapters. Is it that hard to control your sexual desire that you rather move out than be near the one you love? This is not pure love at all. And I doubt he knew if his son wanted to move out, he used to be such a devoted father in earlier chapters. Moreover, if he was honest with Asakura regarding his sexual desire before deciding to be in AV film, he wouldn't even need to move out. And I guess Hikaru paid him that much money because he wanted to be fucked by Kentarou too. I want to see how Asakura would react when the av film comes out. Here, he was super relived and happy when he found out that Kentarou doesn't have a lover, he just fucked someone all day with only 30 minutes break. And Asakura got jealous over just a kiss, that doesn't make sense to me. Kentarou even told Asakura that he doesn't want to do av anymore because he doesn't want to do a job that he can't show to his son, and now he gone and done it again for the money he doesn't need in the end. Is it because this is Shounen Ai, so we didn't see the graphic detail how Kentarou fucked Hikaru that's why the rating is so high? (Or would it make the rating higher with the graphic? lol) get the fuck away from pure innocent Asakura!

Very silly and sparkly, but sort of a nice change of pace from the newer authors. It definitely has an older feel to it. This flirted with sex, but doesn't actually have any. I enjoy that. Not that I mind sex in manga, but when an author doesn't spend the time to create tension, it's not interesting or sexy at all. The story was sweet, perhaps to excess, but charming. Overall I really did enjoy it, in spite of its flaws.

This story is wonderful! The bond between the fathers and their kid's is cute and I love how the wife's accident isn't just dismissed to suit the author. As others have mention the kiss IS HOT and reinforces my love of Kodaka's works. Also this site doesn't show any releases so you will have to search for it 🙂

This manga is realaly good! I was looking for other Kodaka Sensei's other work and happen upon this. It's soooooo good. I really recommend this! Hot, Sexy, Beautiful plot with the perfect character developement and relatioship pace, Just, PERFECT. The children are really funny and adorable little kids I just love 'em lolololol xD I want more xD
