Man, Ogawa Chise is a genius.

Also, can y'all stop reading this expecting anything but messed up shit for this to start with, lol? Ogawa Chise never pretends it wasn't rape--in fact, it was very obvious. The whole premise is based on abuse, that's the POINT. Why are you here expecting anything else?! Azusa doesn't love Karino (until much later bc they start to understand each other), it's not going "I'm raping you into love" like many manga. Azusa tries to take Karino down, drag him back down... it's a game, not one of your lovey dovey romances, okay?

I love that the moment Azusa starts to fall, it's when he sees that Karino sees him bare, like the man who hates being pitied he is. Doesn't look down at him with pity. AAAAA. SO moe.

The second couple seemed deathly boring at first, then omg. Then Ogawa reveals that the top has a codependency issue. And as always, she heals her couples to become as healthy as she can. I love that about her work. (Though not fixing it is also fun, like in Ienai Itami)

The third couple with Senzaki and Tatsumi is VERY COOL. Senzaki is absolutely crazy, and imo more in love with the idea of love than willing to actually look at Tatsumi for who he is, but that's something that can be solved with communication when they reunite. I think I screamed when they talked about how they'd die for each other, then Senzaki tipped him outside the window, and Tatsumi revelled in the thrill and held on, clenched on... holy crap, that was beautiful. And then later Senzaki had 0 hesitation when about to leap out of the window to get something for him agfshdfkl they're insane, but I love that devotion. I love that they reunited 😭😭😭

The ending was kinda rushed but absolutely went in the ideal direction. It was just very unbelievable that Azusa would choose to be that altruistic and even save the one tormenting them in the end. I'd have believed it more if he was shown not to give a shit about him, but knowing that fixing things that way would've simply been most effective.
Everything else was perfect. Oh man. EsPECIALLY after the time skip. !!! I love where Azusa ended up... and they kept their fun dynamic!! 😭😭

Seriously, I love Ogawa-sensei so much. I'm definitely putting the latter half in my purchase list.

I couldn’t believe this is the final vol. Everything was concluded in a dramatic, poetic way.
Everyone get their own deserved ending. It’s all end in a happy way. Am I happy with the ending? I would say yes. Everyone else has confessed love to their partner, but for KarinoxAzusa, there is never a proper confession. And if they did, that will be too much out of their character. But their actions speaks volume, you can see eventually both shows love towards each other. But in KarinoxAzusa own way.
I believe this isn’t the end, sensei said their journey is still ongoing after graduation but may the journey in the fans imagination or sensei will make something. I’m not sure. I mean, spoiler, it shows 10 years after. Will sensei make something during that time or something in between after graduation and before 10 year time, I totally don’t wanna guess.
This manga definitely a worth reading. Maybe there are parts that is shaky, parts when I doubt the logic or whatever but still. This manga pulls you in, make you scared, angst, wanna cry and then happy. Ahhh, finally this done but I don’t wanna let it go yet 😭

Right.. I don't even think I need to explain why this manga is bad. It's not dark/psychological if you try to turn rape and abuse into some kind of love story. Should've stayed true to the genre and had the main character avenge himself. That would've made for an entertaining story at the very least.

Ogawa Chise sensei's works are AMAZING! if you're familiar With Harada Sensei, you'd probably like her works too. Do note, not every BL story is perfect. Most of Ogawa sensei's works have dark and messed up elements in it but she does have wholesome works too. If you are a fan of BL with Dark elements, you might like this one. The characters are not perfect. Unlike other BLs, Ogawa sensei's works are unique. Indeed it is messed up but i can't stop reading it!

My suspension of disbelief doesn't go this far

Okay.... I know this seems popular, but this was definitely not for me. There is a limit to my suspension of disbelief and this manga hit it. The story is set in a school where the students roles are divided in a pyramid of power, through the finding of a card (like gaming cards, from a deck). Azusa used to be the King, but when the order changed again he didn’t manage to get the King card once more, ending up in a uncomfortable situation. Also people used to hate him so they are set to revenge. And. Then I stopped because I couldn’t go one. I just couldn’t buy that a school could do this... like... no.

The manga is an excuse for non consensual scenes, which are not even treated seriously.

I love this author. She creates these amazing, dark, and twisted stories that make me want more. I think the plot in this story is unique. I have never seen it before. There are psychological elements here, such as mind games. The students are all trying to survive by playing these messed up games.

The author did her job very well.

I was intrigued by this manga at first but as I continued to read it, it just seems that whole school is full of messed up crazy people. As someone mentioned before in the comments, why does everybody has to be a yandere?? I'm at the latest chapter and guess what you get later on, more yanderes! I do have a taste for fictional rape but the main couple Karino and Azusa is just downright abusive and everyone in here are trying to rape each other like wth? Does that mean the girls are being raped too? All the couples stories are so dark, except for Atsumu X Kuze.

I guess if you're into stories with dark plots, you will enjoy this. I don't mind mangas to be dark at times but I personally prefer my yaoi to have some cute romance so this was not for me. The art is good though

I clicked on the first chapter expecting some senseless yaoi smut I could indulge in for a little bit, but I couldn't stop reading and ended up blowing through 3 volumes worth in a day. The story and characters here are so messed up that I couldn't stop wanting to read more. It's like staring at a car wreck. No one in this mnaga is mentally well-adjusted or have normal relationships with one another---but that's part of the fun, no? This manga is a guilty pleasure for me. I don't read it for the feels or to be moved, I read it to indulge in some warped, kinky psychological games between a bunch of pretty boys. It's a lot of fun if you're into that.
