TL;DR: This manga is fantastic—don’t wait, read it or buy it as soon as possible!
Despite being part of the harem genre, surprisingly, it didn’t bother me. I should point out that I’m not usually a fan of this category. Each princess has a uniquely defined personality and is genuinely interesting. Honestly, I’d struggle to choose a favorite protagonist.
As for the main character, he’s not overly naive or irritating, which is often a flaw in stories like this. When the situation demands it, he acts decisively—a big plus in my book. While he does have a degree of shyness and perhaps some naivety, it doesn’t leave the reader feeling frustrated or embarrassed.
The story is engaging, with a compelling mystery that keeps you eager to see it resolved. The comic’s overall tone is cheerful, but the comedic elements feel natural rather than overwhelming. At the same time, there’s no shortage of drama, both in terms of the events depicted and character development (this is a seinen, not a shonen, after all).
The pacing of the episodes is excellent, avoiding unnecessary drag. The artwork is beautiful, with dynamic and clear panel layouts. The character designs are attractive, leaning more toward classic manga proportions than realism, but it works well—the author’s style is polished and appealing.
I highly recommend this title to anyone seeking a refreshing break from the usual Japanese and Korean comics that endlessly recycle the same tropes. Here, the characters won’t leave you cringing with secondhand embarrassment—they act and think like actual people, not preschoolers in adult bodies.
