Deserved a longer treatment

The premise of the story was touching, but 6 chapters is far too short for a webtoon in which most of the exposition (and dialogue) is set in the past. The story needed more time in the present for the couple.

It's Nice and Decent

The manhwa is quite nice and the art is gorgeous, this became so popular it ended up releasing a novel and soon after an animation.

It's light hearted with some vanilla smut, in Korean there's so much meaning so I wonder how the official english is gonna translate it.
Example the ring was something the ML wanted to give the MC a long time and the title fits so well because Hyperventilation happens when you're out of breath and that's what happens here when they realized they loved each other, their hearts rushing (also because MC literally Hyperventilates due this lungs lol)

It's a nice and quick paste story to read when bored and if you just want to read something simple

Of All BL manhwa to license in print, why this??

This is one of those BLs that's well known/ hyped, likely because it was one of the first Korean boy's love comics to be made into an anime.

But it literally has no plot. Like none at all. Zero.

I haven't watched it yet, but perhaps it's better as an anime, but that's doubtful if this is the source material.

Two people meet at a reunion, have sex after sorta kinda admitting/recognizing the uke had feelings for the seme back in high school, then the morning after they get back together realizing the feelings are mutual ... and that's it. Seriously, what the heck? So many questions left unanswered. Was the seme married? What was with the ring on his finger? Why is it called hyperventilation? If the author was attempting to be deep and metaphorical with the paneling and open ended-ness, they failed. It was just confusing and pointless to read.

So not sure why, of all the good BL webtoons out there begging to be licensed, why did this get picked for print? It's not worth reading, let alone * spending $17.99 USD* for. Except if you like smut, which isn't much until the rabbit extra. But Tokyopop has promised it will be uncensored so.... there's that.

Needs an argument (but I love it)

This is the first Korean BL I ever watched and read, so I was thrilled and got chills. I enjoy the manhwa and anime, but I don’t see much argument between the pairing like “Why are you doing this?” and one confronting the other for seemingly mistake situation. I know it’s a short series, but I wish there’s another character interrupting their relationship. Despite all that, I love the plot and couple very much, especially the extra chapter (wink)

The art is pretty good and the smut is hot so I can overlook the unclear narrative and non-existent plot lol. I mean the author kinda just glossed over all the answers to questions crucial for understanding the characters' relationship progression in the past and went straight to the mushy and sexy stuff, but damn if the intimate scenes between the leads weren't well-drawn. It's an okay read to pass time with.
