Furudate was a volleyball player during Junior High School, holding the position of middle blocker. Furudate lived in the Iwate prefecture until graduation and moved to Miyagi prefecture later. Graduated from Sendai Design Training School.

Furudate's gender has never been officially revealed to the public, but the general belief among Japanese readers is that they're female, although Wikipedia and the English translations usually refer to Furudate as he/they.

AOKI Yuu (青木裕), UCHIDA Kouhei, KOIZUMI Sakujuu, SUGIE Tasuku & NAMIKIRI Atsushi were once worked as assistant for Furudate.
