Series you should have read sooner. - What are mangas that you wish you would have read sooner?
Maybe something that has been sitting on your wish list for a while, and then you read it one day. Bam you found a gem, and thought "Wow I wish I would have picked this up earlier". Or something friends or others have been saying is great, and you dragged your feet to get around to it, and once you did you wonder why you took so long to it.

For me
Heard about from others-
Hagane no Renkinjutsushi
Meteor Methuselah (This was both from others, and sitting in my wish list)

Was sitting on my wish list for a while-
Wolf & Mary
Yume no Kodomo

I probably have more, but I guess this is enough.

Sidenote: I really hope there isn't a thread like this already. I tried searching, but couldn't find anything like this.

Yey, Hello...

Gin no Saji - The description isn't really that great, but after I started reading it, I found out that it was good...

Iris Zero - not really a fan of the Mc being bullied, but, same as above,
This one's really great..

My friends would stop bugging me about it, so I started reading it and I was amazed.
OnePunch-Man
Aphorism

Those weren't really my type of series to read, but after reading it. I wish that there were more like these. The plot is really good, especially the first one.

100% Perfect Girl- I've been putting off reading this because I didn't like the cover. But it was just the cover that sucks, the inside was great.
3 Hearts- One of my first oneshots. I disliked oneshots because I had this notion that they'd be bad and that it isn't enough to develop a story. But this one's fantastic.
Shinobi Life- I was surprised that this was quite good. I can'trmember why I delayed reading this.
Tokyo Crazy Paradise- The drawing sucks. But once I got used to it, I enjoyed reading it.

Woah, this is an interesting topic!

Cat Street- I judged this manga so badly by it's cover. It looked chessy and old, but I was surprised by how refreshing it was.
Boku no Chikyuu o Mamotte - The description seemed so odd, but I'm really glad I read it. It's by far one of the most complex shoujos I've read, and I love it! biggrin
Cheese in the Trap- This sat in my wish list for the longest time, and for no reason either. When I finally got around it reading it, I was surprised why I let it sit for so long.

The one that really sticks out in my mind that I kept bumping into, but ignoring was Seven Days.
When I finally got around to reading it, I was hooked.

Ruler of the Land
For the longest time I shoved it to the side because the given description didn't interest me, but someone has recently (I think) updated it such that it was like it was describing a different manhwa. It still doesn't quite do the series justice, but it was enough to start me reading. Now I find myself wishing that I knew how to translate/typeset/clean/etc. so that I could help the translators with lessening the 19 volume lead the series has on them.

There have been many others, but I can't remember which exactly they are as it has been a while.

Cheese in the Trap - I ignored it for a long time for some obscure reason. Glad i finally got around to reading it ^^
Please Save my Earth - After reading the first chapter, which had frequent mentions of dinosaurs, I was put off. Tried reading it again this month and loved it.
Warau Kanoko-sama - From the cover Kanoko seemed to be very conniving and arrogant. Well she is conniving and arrogant, but I can't help but love her.

Adding
Dorohedoro - Given the Series' Description, one would think that it's a fantasy adventure manga, wherein, it would take place in some caves, dungeons, jungles, etc...

Didn't interest me that much, but after I started reading it, it was really great,
Been so long since I was really engrossed in reading a manga, and it's all thanks to this...

Ghost Hunt - i got into my mind that this is a realistic manga so when it turn out not, i ditch it for a long time. then when i take it back up, it is actually very good mystery/horror manga.

sometimes i might get a feeling that
if i had read something like
Sakigake!! Otokojuku
when i was 10 i would have been obsessed with it

but i never get a feeling that i should have read something sooner bcoz it didnt turn out to be shit like i thought
i am reading it now and enjoying it
its not like the world is going to end tomorrow and i wont be able to finish reading it
and if the world was going to end
it would not really matter one way or the other if i read it or not so

Berserk

Yeah, its old. Yeah, its on hiatus (when isn't it on hiatus?).

But I found out about the series pretty late (mid-2000s or so) and it still holds up OK (I still don't get why people swear by the Band of the Hawk story arc), but reading those early volumes? Wow, we've come a long way.

Magician (KIM Sarae)- I read the first few pages and was like "I hate stupid kids" and put it on hold but once I actually finished the first couple of chapters I was like "woah I love it!" Actually my favorite manga at the moment.

Kubera Read the first few pages I thought 'oh its a romance about her and the guy laying in the filed of mushrooms' I though it was a dump shoujo so put it on hold. When I actually read the whole first chapter I felt pretty stupid for not picking in up earlier.

Liar Game I love this one..too bad its on hiatus. I have no idea why I kept skipping over this master piece.

Natsume Yuujinchou -read the first chapter a couple of times throughout the last year and every time i just did not want to read the next chapter, but once i finally did i couldn't stop and i realized how amazing it is

Chang Ge Xing -has it on my wish list for forever and finally read it after someone suggested it to me and im so glad they did, the story was amazing, the characters were amazing, and the art was beautiful (sigh, im such a sucker for pretty art)
