I say I don't believe in them but whenever something scary happens I think it just might be a ghost.

I don't believe in ghosts in the supernatural sense. We live in a world driven (theoretically speaking) by logical and rationality. Long has passed since the days where we could blame disappearances on rogue tengu. There's bound to be some sort of satisfactory scientific evidence for any event.

In any case, I do think that the stories and circumstances surrounding the supernatural have some merit. Regardless of reality, supernatural occurrences are interesting on a variety of levels. Perhaps the best way to sum up my philosophy would be to say that ghosts are real, but only in the narrative sense. They influence our emotions and interpretation of reality based solely upon fictitious context, which I think is a pretty incredible phenomenon.

Ghosts do not exist in reality.
However paranormal phenomena amuse me greatly.

I believe in them and then I don't. It's just fun to sit with a few friends or family and scare the heck out of each other during ghost story time 😀
